Wow I hadn't heard that. Where did you get that information? Just curious.

First saw it on the UMichigan Admissions page (http://www.med.umich.edu/medschool/admissions/apply/profiles.html), then asked around about national stats. I doubt that Michigan is alone in this. Could be completely wrong, but if it's true, all the better for us!

Yeah I'm pretty nervous. I got waitlisted at GWU, which was alright I guess cause Georgetown is my dream school. But I can't help but think that if I got waitlisted at GW I'll prolly get waitlisted or denied at Georgetown. How many people get accepted post-interview (not off the waitlist) at Georgetown? The students there made it seem like almost everyone that goes there got off the waitlist (which I think is kinda dumb).

that sounds about right. their admissions rate is about 1/3 of interviewed.

mrmilad, I interviewed the same day as you...didn't Mrs. Sullivan say that we could email her on September 20 (tomorrow) if we hadn't heard from the school by then? (I vaguely recall her saying something along these lines...)

She actually said we can call them on the 20th if we didn't hear anything.

Sigh........... Georgetown is another let down in terms of keeping their damn deadline.

Don't they friggin realize that people are waiting for their decision so they can cancel other interviews.

Oh well, guess they sent out either all the acceptances in a group, or just everything for today. I heard the waitlist isn't bad at Georgetown once you write that essay so
