A question for those who have interviewed or got an interview.....
I got an invite a couple of weeks ago and I scheduled the faculty interview on their website...and got a confirmation back. Their email said I would get another email in a few days telling me what time my second interview was. Still haven't gotten it. Anyone know how long they take to send it? Should I call? Thanks!

I emailed them back and let them know that i never got it and then they sent me the time of the student interview. Honestly, it doesnt make much difference because all student interviews are in the afternoon and they dont tell you the name prior to getting there

I KNOW!! I just got that too... maybe they're trying to ease the rejection/hold by telling us we'd be great for Podiatry..
They're secretly hoping we'll change our minds about medicine so we don't feel as bad if they don't get back to us.
haha. JK. I think its automatic based on MCAT scores, its prolly not sent to the applicant pool but the people (like me) who elected to allow AMCAS to share their scores....
I actually thought it was a rejection cuz it didn't start with Congrats.. So I'm HAPPY it wasnt!! 🙂
When I saw an email from "Temple University/Admissions", honestly my heart stopped for a few seconds. I thought it was a rejection email. I have been complete since mid-September and have yet to hear anything. They should not do that to us!
Anyway, my first thought after that was, "No way do I want to deal with smelly feet all day!"

i was accepted into Temple's MD class of 2014 and I still got that email...now that I think about it Podiatry doesnt sound too bad...jkjk...but ya im sure its just an automated message and doesnt have to do with anything dealing with ur app status for MD

I didn't get the email either. Guess I shouldn't hold out hope for an interview, I'm not even worthy of their spam mail. 😛
because I was curious as to why I didn't get the email I checked my undergrad. email box and found it in there. That's the email I had on my MCAT records and my gmail is listed on AMCAS, so it's just a spam mail to everyone who registered/took the MCAT recently.
The same thing happened to me. I called the school and they let me know that the student interview would be between 2:00 and 2:30. They did not give an exact time.
Interviewed 11/3, accepted via portal today.
I tried to pay the deposit, and when I clicked the "accept" box it just said "error contact admissions"
Is anybody able to access. Maybe the error is because I was just accepted today and they havent uploaded me into the eligible for payment list?
It's funny because I had trouble with UBuffalo's online payment too. None of these schools have good acceptance deposit payment websites I guess (lol).

I have an interview in early December. Am I interviewing for the waitlist? I like Temple and would love to live in Philadelphia.

I don't think so, they have 180 spots, and I don't think you will be interviewing for a waitlist spot in Dec.
Not sure about this year, but last year Temple divided their class into quarters, so when we interviewed in March, there were still 1/4 of the spots for the Class of 2013 available. This is a nice alternative to rolling admissions. Not sure if they are doing this for 2014 though.
