I called this morning but couldn't get any information out of the lady.. sigh..😳
is it weird that my letter doesn't give me my clinical site? it only says something about doing my clinical work at temple or one of its other clinical sites
I think that means you were placed at the Temple Hospital for your clinical site.
I have a question for anyone that may have interviewed here... I'm interviewing tomorrow and was wondering what the deal with the parking was?
There's a garage directly across the street from the new building you will be in. Can't comment any further as I taxi'd around the city.
Good luck tomorrow 👍
How long have most people had to wait for a decision post-interview here? 3-4 weeks?
I think it has ranged from 3-6 weeks, but the average seems to be 4 weeks. By tomorrow, I will have waited four weeks, and by Friday, 5 Fridays will have elapsed. As you can tell, I'm counting down the days...

Guess I probably have another week or two then. Good luck to you! 🙂

You can park on the street, but it's limited to 2 hour parking. And there's no way you can leave your interview to put in quarters, that is just not an option. If your car gets caught with a meter that's out though, you can expect a $100+ ticket. The parking garage is where students normally park, but they purchase semester-long passes, not sure about 1 day parking. Call the garage and find out 🙂
hey guys, current Temple pharm student here... let me know if you have questions, maybe I can help out.
By the way, I posted a few answers and tips at this "Temple Interview" thread I came across yesterday: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?p=9200997#post9200997
Good luck!
Thanks for the tips... but this is the MD forum. 😕
Although I did find your "Why Philly" question for OOSers to be right on the money. My interviewer was concerned about that for me as well.

lol I know, I just saw that a second ago and fixed it up.
I had an interview on Jan. 13th and just checked my status on Temple's website and it says..."Correspondence Mailed" - Does anyone know if that status has any positive or negative ramifications to it lol?

Sorry but you were either rejected or on the wait list.

If you were accepted, the status would reflect that. Unfortunately "correspondence mailed" means either waitlist or rejection.
Of course, I'm going to go obsessively check my status now...
correspondence mailed...&*^*(#&$
I'm sorry. 🙁 When did you interview?
No change in status yet for me. More waiting.

Sorry guys. I'm with ya. It sucked so bad to see that status when I opened the website.
Hoping it's a WL decision for you two

According to last year's thread, there was definitely some substantial WL movement.
me too!!! how depressing, after waiting for 7 weeks! i assumed it meant rejection though...so it could mean waitlist too?correspondence mailed...&*^*(#&$

For some reason I can't access status page. Does anyone have same problem?
Same here.

I've got that problem...
Hey everyone. By my own negligence and some life stuff, I completed by secondaries by early December. My application was complete shortly after, and I have been waiting for an interview at Temple since. My only interview has been at Univ. of Iowa Carver. It doesn't help that i can't check the status page. Anyone in a similar situation and losing their mind?
Ok so, this week most of us got the "correspondence mailed" status, and since then templemed has been down. I am just thinking that the "correspondnce mailed" status is just an accident/system glitch. I hope it is 😀 or I'm just crazy and very hopeful.

That actually popped into my head as well. It's definitely a viable theory.
Good luck! 🙂

I guess I am not crazy after all 🙂
Guys, check your statuses.
Interviewed mid-January. Accepted! Very happy! 😀
Congrats Moo!
If you don't mind me asking, are you IS or OOS?

Yay, you didn't take my spot!

Excuse me while I go tear my hair out. It really helps pass the time.
for those looking for a closer interview: i'll probably cancel my interview tomorrow for feb. 9 due to an acceptance elsewhere. good luck to you guys!
I just got to say canceling one day before your interview is extremely poor form and it doesn't actually help anyone out since they can't just invite someone that same day and have them come on the 9th. Congrats on your acceptance but you should try to be more considerate next time. Especially if you knew you weren't going to go in the first place. I just think that is proper etiquette.
I had the same interviewer, and it caught me off guard as well...She didn't seem to have any concerns with my application, which may be good or bad....😕 I was out of her office in 15 minutes flat 🙁
If you don't mind me asking, did you end up getting accepted or are you still waiting?
Accepted. 🙂
