Sorry! I guess I should have been a little clearer. I was wondering how long it took them to give you an interview invite. I've been complete here for awhile and haven't heard anything.
 
Also, do they accept updates? I want to try to send them my Fall transcript and see if that will help get the ball rolling. It seems like I've been "under review" for foreverrr
 
I was complete late july and received an invite about 3 weeks later. As for updates, I believe there's a 'send us stuff' tab that allows you to upload documents.
 
I was complete at the end of July and received an invite in October exactly one week after my second mcat score was released.
 
so I have an interview at temple on the 2nd of february, but still haven't received the email about the second interview for that day, should I call them or do they send that out right before the interview?

I would call to double check. I remember getting my interview assignments roughly a month prior to my interview.

Hey, the same thing happened to me. Just e-mail them and they will send you the information. The second interview is usually sometime after lunch. Good luck!!
 
thx for the quick responses, i called and they said they are behind schedule but I should get an email by next week
 
i'm pretty much wrapping up my interview season now, and temple was by far my favorite. and my only acceptance so far, so that works out well. anyone else think this is where they'll end up?
 
I'm pretty sure I will be attending Temple. I fell in love with the school on the interview day. I am also accepted at NYMC but Temple seems like the obvious choice. The only downside is the price😕.

Price sucks at both of those schools.

I know. NYMC is a little cheaper (by $5000), negligible at this point. Unfortunately I didn't get any interviews at any state schools in NY, so I don't really have a choice but to incur massive amounts of debt.

yeah the price tag sucks. i'm not a big fan of my state school (maryland)...but god is tuition low for instate

Don't blame ya! Do what ya gotta do... might be in a similar situation if I ever get accepted.

As far as I know, either in the local neighborhood, or in the garage across from the med school, which is about 500 bucks a semester.

yeah, most park in the carlisle west garage ($414 for the semester) while some park on W. Tioga Street b/t Broad and 17th

Go with the garage, parking on the street might not be such a good idea. People who take SEPTA don't save much money if any. You can get a discounted pass each semester, but tis comparable to the price of the garage.
 
I was recently accepted to Temple and just received my acceptance letter stating that my clinical rotations will be at St. Lukes in Bethlehem, PA. I really wanted to rotate at Temple Hospital. Is it totally obnoxious to request Temple Hospital at this point? Should I just wait till school starts and then try to do something about it?

Congratulations on the acceptance!

I think if you find a student that is going to be doing rotations at Temple Hospital, and they want to do rotations at St. Lukes, you can trade places with them. I think we were told this on interview day.
 
how good lookin r chicks that go here. might b a stupid question but might make my decision to go here lil easier lol
 
it would certainly make waking up everyday and goin to class little bit easier to handle ha. + i wouldn't feel lonely. no to disrespect any of u guys though

Thanks! I'm pretty sure that Temple Hospital is most people's first choice. It might be hard to find someone who actually wants to switch. I guess I will contact admissions and see if there is anything they can do for me...

Withdrew my acceptance today, so there's one more spot open for new interviewees or waitlisters. Temple is great (great clinical training, awesome new facilities, chill students), and I love Philly like no other...but I decided I would probably pursue other acceptances at this point if I had to decide now. No point in dragging it out to May and making another applicants life more stressful.

i aleready been accepted by 4 med schools. but seriously u guys shouldnt quit life over some guy in SDN forums lol. People should be happy with what they have.

was anyone here interviewed with a lady. did not smile throughout. asked u 2 question and interview was over. i dont want to name the lady for privacy. But anyone else went through experience similar to this and were u accepted?

Interviewed at 3 places, still waiting on a final decision from all. Temple is definitely my Rank 1 and is VERY convenient location-wise. :xf:

Anyone else on the same boat?

Yeah, I was complete in July or August and no news.

Same boat as you. Complete in Sept. IS, 32Q/3.83. Update letter sent in December. This school is pretty much my top choice. Heartbreaking to not hear from them.
 
has anyone who interviewed on or around 12/16 heard anything? my status still says that my interview is complete and i'm under review with the office!

I would be patient. With the holidays interrupting things, you've probably only been under review for ~3 weeks. Give it a bit longer.

yeah, i know...admissions told my interview group that we were likely to hear in mid-january, so i was just curious to see if anyone had heard anything yet 🙂

I interviewed on 12/16 and heard back 4 days later... Maybe give it a week then give them a call?
 
I interviewed on 12/3 and did not hear back until 1/18. I think it depends on your interviewer...
 
Accepted!! First acceptance for me 🙂

Complete: 7/17
Interview: 12/16
Decision: 1/25 (via status page...no email yet)

Very excited
