Student Hosting Program

Good sign! Congrats. FYI, all Maine Track people will be called/notified by the Boston Campus if they are accepted.
 
Has anyone else gotten a phone call today? I interviewed on October 15th and still have not heard anything.

I got Dean Neumeyer's call yesterday as well - right around 5:45, and I interviewed October 13th.
 
Accepted! Interviewed third week of October.
 
just got the call as well!!! ahhh so excited😀
 
Also accepted! They called me just a few minutes ago. Interviewed early October.

is tufts supposed to be a good school? I got an invite but i really dont know much about this school. I just looked at a bunch of schools from MSAR and picked the one which where OOS friendly and were within my GPA and MCAT range.

Accepted! got the call around 9:00 pacific time, interviewed on 10/06

So excited. First acceptance and I loved this school.

lol no I wont dont that. I really dont care which school i go to whether its a good school or not. I was just wondering why everyone was begging for an interview invite like its the greatest school in the world. The school average mcat is a 31.6. Pretty low to be a great school.

Isn't the median 35 though? Slash when did test scores demonstrate how good a school was or whether or not you'd want to go there. I'm picking more on culture, location, people and opportunities than name, rank, or scores.

I dont know about that. I can't find it anywhere in their site. But it seems the standards for Tufts are pretty low- average GPA of 3.65 and MCAT 31.6. I just assumed that in order for a school to be good they should have good students.

Pretty sure they have good students. I wouldn't worry about that...

Mean Science GPA: 3.53
Mean MCAT Scores:
VR: 10.3
PS: 10.9
BS: 11.1

You're getting really picky about numbers. In any case, they're a good school that's really competitive to get into. If you don't want the spot, let someone else get an interview that wants it.

GOT ACCEPTED TOO...my first oneeeee!!!! DEFINITELY MY TOP CHOICE SCHOOL!!!! Congrats to all the others :luck:
 
Got a very nice voicemail from the Dean. Interviewed on 10/6. Hooray!
 
got the waitlist email this morning. I will now proceed with shooting myself🙁🙁
 
Does Tuft update the status page? Mine still says "Application complete" since July or August. If my file is under the review, will the status change change to "Under review" or still say "Application complete"?

I just got my admission decision yesterday and my status online is still 'Application Complete'. It's never changed to 'Under Review' or anything like that.
