Well it looks like the interviews in the first week of November are getting notified. I had mine on November 12th, so I wonder when people from our group will be called.
 
mine was the 10th....gr I really want to hear today
 
same here... interviewed 12th... the wait is def. a killer...

I hope it will all work out for us so we can really enjoy our thanksgiving

congrats guys. i interviewed 10/29.. does that mean im sol since people after me already got a call? =T
 
I sent them an email today and was told that the aceptances were delayed till next week so it's weird to here people say they were called today. Not sure what's gong on now.

I guess some people will hear by this week and others next week.
 
I really need to stop refreshing this page, my email... and stop starting at my cellphone every 5 seconds... sigh :/

I am supposed to write a 10-page paper and finish at least one of my assignments. However, I end up distracting myself with e-mail/ forum checking every 10 minutes or so.

Yeah in the call they said we wouldn't be getting an email or letters until next week, so maybe they just decided to do a couple calls today?
 
Accepted!!! Talked to Dr. Neumeyer about 30 minutes ago! Couldn't be happier. (Interview = 11/10)
 
Weird, I also got the call about half an hour ago. Interviewed on Nov. 12th.

Well, too late for calls today. None tomorrow. They staggered calls over two days last time, hopefully they do the same. Good luck to all those still eyeing their phones.
 
wow.. some of you guys really need to chill out, no need freaking out over a phone call... its always fun watching premeds stress out. ha

When you have zero acceptance in hand, it's easy to stress out. I was in their shoes a couple of weeks ago and it's not fun.Allow them this natural process. It will be over soon!🙂

there is a difference between anticipation and stress.

were you "freaking out" the night before christmas? nah, you were just excited

I feel like its impossible to read their pattern @@ its so... unpredictable :/

I received a phone call the evening before thanks giving from the Dean about 6pm. I am very excited. i interviewed on 11/5

Sent mine 2 weeks ago. They've received it but haven't cashed it yet. I didn't get any confirmation of receipt. I personally called to make sure it was received. Did you get an email from Gina for immunization? I think that what they do when they've received your reply form and deposit check.
 
Hoping for another big round of interview invites! Anyone with access to the calendar: does it seem like there are a good number of dates still open?

This and Mt. Sinai are my top choices. I'm withdrawing everything else.

I loved this school, but I had one really crazy interview with bizarre questions I had a hard time answering.

i did recieve the immunization email. i called today and they said they didn't recieve my deposit. and then they called me back and said they had it. i hope there is no mistake cuz that would suck, to think you have an acceptance and several months later realize you don't.

I want to bring attention back to this question - please, for those of us still waiting for the blessed invite...anyone have any idea how far out they are scheduling interviews at this point? I really want to go here and am interested to have an idea of approximately how many interviews are still left to be doled out...

thanks yall. and congrats to those who got accepted - what a great thing to be thankful for on thanksgiving.

hey I just checked for you - Feb and March are both wide open.

There are 14 days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in Feb and March that still have open slots. From my experience, there were about 25 students per date; indicating that there are anywhere from 14 to 350 interview spots open in total. I would guess that the number is somewhere in the middle of that, but bear in mind that some people might withdraw their interviews as they are accepted elsewhere.

This is great information; thanks!!

Tufts interviews just over 800 people (I think), so if there is still on the order of 200 or 300 interviews left, that's reasonably good news for us still waiting.
 
Was I the only person who was really surprised by how nice this school was? I was really impressed at how nice the facilities were and how nice the quality of life the students seemed to have. Everyone was very nice too.


Love that it's so close to the orange line too 😛
Should we make a class thread?

I was also really impressed by how great the facilities, students, and admissions staff seemed. I loved Tufts until my first interview, which was so stressful and bizarre. I think that I let that experience overly impact my "take-away" perception of the school, though. I've been getting increasingly psyched about Tufts and am reaalllyyy looking forward to going back for second look. Because really, everything up until that fluke interview was absolutely spot-on. So yay for Tufts! 🙂

And good luck to everyone still waiting for interview invites or post-interview decisions!
