For those of you who've already taken the DAT, how did you think this practice test compared to the real thing? (Especially PAT , Bio, Ochem and QR)

I've read a few things about it but I want someone's opinion who's recently taken both.
Thank you🙂

To be honest, I thought the biology was similar to the 2009 version, but the chemistry and organic chemistry to be much harder. The reading was very similar to the real DAT and so was the QR. As for the PAT section - I thought the cube counting was harder on the real DAT and pattern folding IMPOSSIBLE on the real DAT.

Do not stress out though - it is just another exam you will have to take 🙂

In my opinion:

BIO is a bit harder on the real thing.
GC, OC, and PAT are about the same.
QR and RC are harder on the 2009 version.

You're going to hear a variety of answers on this, but my experience was that taking the 2009 test, I scored 19s and 20s two days before I took the exam. (I was basically in tears after a lot of studying... I don't recommend this.) However, on the day of the exam, I got 21s an 22s for the most part (23 PAT but 19 QR). So my experience was that it was harder, but it seems to vary for people on the board.

I scored 20,20,19 on Bio, ochem and gen chem respectively. And then 19,20,21 on QR, RC and PAT when I took the 2009 test the week before my exam. On the actual exam I beat every score except PAT which I thought was the only thing way harder. As someone mentioned, pattern folding was the devil! Personally thought bio was ridiculously easy on the actual test. Scored a 26 and my highest practice was a 20. Its all relative to what you have studied. Just be confident in yourself, and make sure to relax before you take your DAT. Good luck!
