I saw people in last year's Drexel thread literally waiting 3+ months after interviews for an update. D-:
I interviewed on Tuesday too! 😱 I had no idea that any of the people I interviewed with were on SDN - hope your interview went well!
My understanding was that they start mailing out results on October 16 (for the first batch at least) so depending on how early you interviewed (i.e. how much or how little back-up of students has accumulated) you should hear anywhere from 3rd week of October to first week of November. That being said however, some people don't always hear back that early so if you're not in that first batch then there's really no telling (though they did say that they try their best to get it done within 6-8 weeks).
I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I really loved the school and the students/faculty
Good luck to everyone - those who have interviews, you're going to love it, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Those who are still waiting, don't give up! This is a long process and sometimes all you can do is sit on your hands and wait, but there's still plenty of time so try to stay positive because there's always hope!! 🙂
Tuesday's crowd was having way too much fun - laughing and carrying on while I waited for my interviewee. Don't you guys know that every moment of the interview process is supposed to be edge-of-your-seat anus-clenching panic?

i interviewed today and they gave us all different essay topics. they were really short essays, like 3/4 of a page and u have literally the entire day to complete them (you have quite a bit of downtime). my essay question was something along the lines of, a patient comes in to your office with a serious med. condition and in order to fully diagnosis him/her you need to wait 2 hrs for a lab test to be complete. The "catch" is that you have some prior engagement to go to (not specified what it is) and so the question is what do you do, leave the person with ur "on call" team or stay with the patient.r
pretty easy question, i drafted an essay, revised it, etc. and I think it went fine. Obviously i was liek screw the patient, im leaving

I graduated a couple of years ago and have been a research scientist at two top 10 research universities in the meantime. I'm hoping that will help!
This was my first response (invite or R) from any of the schools I submitted secondaries to, and it feels great to start on a high note!

Drexel's e-mails regarding interviews have said it's over by 3pm, and it's been confirmed by interviewees.

Status change w/o email, I registered for an interview on the first available date that was listed for me (November 15). Still no email but maybe the email won't be sent since I registered for an interview already.

Me too!! But the website said to look for at the invitation letter for hotel and flight arrangements, so hopefully we will still get it! Interview set up for 11/19!

I never got a completion e-mail, just a receipt of payment for the secondary.
Definitely no complete email. You have to click through to the second page (after entering your login info again) and it will say "Complete" somewhere in there when you are complete.
Check frequently so you don't miss the interview invite option!
(But honestly, who isn't already checking these sites 100 times a day)

My guess is they have a "maybe" pile and if you're in there it may take a little longer for them to decide either way.
Using a "maybe pile" or a "small pool" seems like the best way to select the best group, but not all schools state that they do this (or have a special status for this). I'm guessing they all do this in one form or another, so as not to reject too many people or give out too many interviews too early.
That's my thought on this anyway--maybe someone has better insight!
No matter how they do it, it's never fun for us applicants who are dying for updates!

Haha, I feel you. I wonder if it might be a silent hold pile. Although if you look at the way they sent out the secondaries, it is clear they don't like to do things in order.
I got an interview invite this morning! Finally some luck in PA! I was complete 8/15 for those wondering. Earliest date available now is mid-November

i know! it kind of defeats the purpose of being responsible and getting your AMCAS in the day it comes out, etc.

They do, but the online status changes first so check it a lot!
I got my Invite status this morning, and by reading other posts it looks like the slots fill up fairly quickly.

I'm pretty sure that the order of interview offers was all out of whack because of how late they sent out their secondaries.

I was complete on August 29 and still have the 'no decision has been made' status. For all of you who were put in the re-review pile, how long did that take? I think they may be holding off on me since I interviewed last cycle and am presently doing Georgetown's SMP.

I think the re-review status ("Thank you for your application. Your file has been reviewed and will be re-evaluated later in the season for a final decision.") could become a silent rejection though because I got that last year..
