Does anyone still have the "no decision... status"? I submitted back in August and this is the only school I haven't heard from yet. Are they really THAT slow?

They are not THAT slow, they just probably hand out interviews for a while and come back to apps. The one thing they are slow out is sending out emails, like the secondary email and sometimes invite emails after they appear on your status page. But this is the system and not the admissions staff. Most likely I would guess if you don't hear within a month or 6 weeks from submission of the secondary, they will have put you on some kind of a hold to review again later in the cycle (just my 2 cents though).

Ya just randomly checked my status and got an interview been complete around 9/21 no email and no status change till now (or a couple of days ago since I last checked)

Received an interview invite! Was complete early August - found out via status page (which didn't change until I clicked on the "view your decision" link)

I have several questions for the people who have already interviewed:

- Around what time did the day end? The school says 3:30, but does the day actually end before that? I want to book a 5:00 flight, but I'm not sure if that'll be pushing it!

- For those of you who went directly to the airport after the day concluded, what form of transportation did you use? Is Philly like NYC, with taxis everywhere?

You won't have any luck getting a cab up at Queen Lane unless you call ahead. However, it's quick, easy, and cheap ($11 for an all-day pass) to take the train to the airport.

I interviewed on 11/22 and our question and answer session about the different curricula was canceled - so we were done around 1:00 (depending on when the faculty interview was since they're all diff times). So, it could be done early. Also, that QA session is optional - so you could definitely be done around 1-1:30 if you needed to be.

Yes, you'll most likely be done by 2pm latest.

yeah rpg same situation, complete in August like first day. Based on calling them a few weeks ago, they said they haven't looked at my app. Not sure how true this is, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The Q&A is the last activity of the day and its also optional, so if you need to leave you are free to leave. On my interview day, half of us missed the Q&A because we got back from our clinical site interview late, and our student interview/lunch went into and beyond the Q&A time.

People do not have interviews after the Q/A session, at least not when I was there. However, my interview overlapped with the QA session so I didn't get to go. So your interview could potentially end as late as 2pm.

And yes, the Q/A session was the last thing scheduled on the day I was there.

It took about 6 weeks from being AMCAS verified for me just to receive the secondary invite. Drexel just has a slow system, I guess.

I've been complete here since 9/22, and still haven't heard anything. The banner site says "no decision available".

i was waitlisted in early december last year and ultimately didn't end up getting an acceptance offer. unfortunately, they dragged me along until august. 👎

I interviewed there on 12/2, and the school looked pretty good.

I stayed at the Student Guest House, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. It's literally around the corner from the school, the beds are comfortable, and the woman who runs the place is wonderful.

I think at the beginning of this cycle, we were getting the "under review by the committee" message the week we were reviewed and switching to "decision/final decision" on Friday after the adcom met. At this point, they've interviewed a healthy number of people so they are probably not getting through everyone at each adcom meeting now. Chances are this is what just happened to you.

They told us the committee meets every Thursday, however the other week was Thanksgiving despite still having interviews that week and the week preceeding, so I'd imagine they will be a little backed up this month so it may take longer than it has for others earlier in the thread.

I interviewed on Oct. 14 and I still haven't gotten a decision. Oh well, I'm going to withdraw since I got into schools I would definitely attend over drexel. Hopefully it'll speed up the process for someone else.

Decided to call admissions today after I checked my status and it still says "no decision has been made" and I've been complete for four months now! Anyway, the lady in admissions was very vague, told me that the office itself does not provide updates on the status of applications and to continue checking the website. She said that updated should be made very soon now. ::scccaaarrryyy!!!::

Btw, what's the easiest way to get to school from the airport? Train? Is it safe to ride the train in the evening?

Yeah, the train is safe any time -- it's regional rail, not the subway. 👍
