I'm still in the stage where I am convinced I'm not going to get any interviews, even though only one of my schools has shown up on this list. It's hard to see so many others getting any interviews when you don't have any yourself..but I am very happy for those who have! I think JEALOUS is the word I am looking for....

Grad cafe has one invite up for U. of Arkansas - Fayetteville...:bang:
 
2 of my schools have sent out invites, and I haven't heard anything. 13 to go. Yikes.

When I saw one of my top schools had invites sent out from the DCT and I hadn't received one, I was beyond disappointed. I figured I just had to accept it as a rejection and try and focus on the schools I had yet to hear back from. Then a week later, I got an invite from the DCT.
I don't think it is the norm, but it is also apparently what some schools do.

I just got a phone call from my POI at one of my top schools and I'm too scared to return the message! :scared:
 
If people who have heard from Virginia Tech or UNC Chapel Hill could PM me with their POI (or whoever contacted them), I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
 
Looks like WUSTL and Uconn are almost done, if not done, with sending out invites? AHHH...can someone who received invites please PM me their POI? Thanks.
 
I was told by the secretary that the University of Arkansas's clinical faculty met yesterday to begin deciding who they want to invite for interviews. They are sending out notifications during this week.
 
The University of Denver is currently reviewing applications, but interviews will be 2/11 to 2/14
 
Hi,

Just curious, for those who posted when BU and Temple would give notice on interview dates, how did you find this information out? I never got an e-mail from BU - was it prompted by something?
 
neurogirl23, for BU I had emailed about something unrelated and the secretary volunteered the information. I don't think they send out mass emails about that.

I applied and the deadline was 12/31. Not sure how X-mas calls would have worked with that. I understand that they are emailing to those with incomplete appl next week.

Hi all,

Does anyone know if University of British Columbia does a clinical interview? It isn't mentioned anywhere on their admissions site nor in their psych department info? Just curious. Thanks.
 
Could the person interviewing with WUSTL also PM me their POI? That would be sooo helpful...
 
The faculty for MUOhio will be meeting this Wednesday for their first meeting to begin deciding who they will be inviting for interviews. Interviews will be happening on 2/14 and 2/18 for the first round and people will be notified by their POIs.
 
The faculty of DePaul will be getting the names of the people they will be inviting for interviews to their admissions coordinator by January 24.
 
Call from POI to interview at University of Arizona Clinical Psychology PhD Program. Interview date 2/10. YAYAYAY!
 
Via email from DCT...We will make decisions about who to invite to interview by 1/21 and you will be notified via e-mail if you are being invited to interview. Our interview day will be Friday, 2/18/2011.
 
Drexel is up on thegradcafe.com ("Interview days 2/18 or 2/21").
 
FYI- The University of Maine is still sorting applications. The applications have not yet made it to the faculty or the students. Interview date will be 2/14.
 
Would appreciate any info regarding UNC Chapel Hill, Virginia Tech, or Drexel.

Looks like I need to start considering a back up plan :/ Getting very discouraged here!
 
I received an email today to set up a telephone interview for University of Central Florida w/ my PI to discuss research interests and learn more about the program. Telephone interview dates are 1/12 1/13 1/14

This isn't an interview, as we know it, just putting their feelers out to ensure that I am interested in what they do there, I think.

But, I just wanted to let you guys know that UCF is definitely at the point that candidates are being contacted.

How were the Widener and UPenn invites received? Via mass email or email from POI?
 
Immaculata invites are supposed to go out soon, and interviews will be held the week of Feb 14 according to email.
 
Has anybody else heard from Univ of Vermont, and did anyone else apply to Lehigh University's PhD Counseling program? I have not heard anyone else mention Lehigh, and it seems like a solid program. I have no clue when I should be expecting to hear from them.
 
Could the person who heard from UPenn let me know their POI? (Also looking for info for Virginia Tech & UNC Chapel Hill!)

Has anyone heard from U of Cincinnati? It is my top choice school and I have no idea when they might be sending out invites. I looked at last years thread and they went out Feb 10. According to this I have a while to go before I know anything..

Also, I was wondering I made a great connection with a professor in Cincinnati (not my POI) and was wondering if it would be wrong of me to e-mail her again? We've been talking about once a month since November.
