I'll definitely post my status tomorrow as soon as I get it, regardless of whether it's good or bad (I hope you don't feel pressured to do the same).
 
How long generally after your complete do you hear anything from Temple in regards to an interview invite?
 
Has anyone used student hosting this year? I couldnt find anything about it. Am I missing it? I am interviewing 11/2 and would like to stay with a host if possible. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

On the status page for Temple, click on "Home" - there's going to be a block of links to choose from. One of them says "Student Host Link," which will bring up an Excel/Google Docs Sheet that has info on the available hosts. They might be booked up now, but you might get lucky if you email a few of them. Yay for student hosts!

It looks like last year people started posting accepted/waitlisted around 1 PM!

Only interviewed last Tuesday (10/05) so really hoping to hear today but I know chances are probably slim that they've decided on me! :xf:
 
I hope we hear soon, otherwise my day is not going to be very productive. So far, I've been checking every 2.5 minutes.
 
Same! Do they send admission decisions via email or snail mail?

Looking at last years thread, if they made a decision your status will change on templemedonline. If you are accepted, it will tell you. If you are waitlisted or rejected, your status will change to "correspondance mailed." Then, you'll have to wait for the snail mail.

Hey I interviewed a day after you and they told us at our meeting that people who interviewed in the week that we did will be decided on at the adcom meeting today (Friday the 15th) and that they would be sending out letters on Monday or Tuesday.

Awww ok. Thanks for the info! Guess I won't be hearing from anyone today since my other schools decided not to tell anyone until the 18th..ugh!

Just sitting outside the lecture hall last minute studying for an exam, and I remembered it's 10/15 and schools can start notifying...

First of all, congratulations for getting as far as you have - this is an achievement in and of itself. 🙂

Good luck to all of you! Don't stress, and if you can't help but stress, just remember that once you're in - doesn't matter where - you're golden. Applying/waiting is much more excruciating than med school. So, keep holding on, it only gets better - you guys are champs! 👍

Ahhh I know! The more I think about Temple the more I fall in love with it! Definitely in my top two 😍
 
So nervous. :scared: Gah. I love Temple as well, so hoping for some good news! :xf:

Called the admissions office. They got several calls today apparently, but she just repeated how "Oct 15" just means med school can't send out decisions beforehand but does not mean it actually comes out today. And she can't give any more information than that. Ahhhh!!! Gosh, med school is such a huge test of patience, dude.
 
I looked at the 2008-2009 thread. Applicants that year didn't hear about temple's decision until oct 30th... I hope that doesn't happen this year and there are some updates today. :xf:

I interviewed at Temple yesterday, and the director for admissions said they won't hold decisions past the 15th for people who have already gone to committee.

So, who knows if that means you'll hear something today or not or if they are mailing letters. She also said the committee meets on Fridays, and you go to committee once your student and faculty evaluations are in. It depends on interviewer how soon that is but she said after the 15th, if it's been more than 4 weeks since you've interviewed to call because they should notify you in no more than 4 weeks.

Who do you even call? The lady on the phone said everything's confidential and that the decisions will go out when they go and she was not able to give any time frame at all.

I don't know who you would call to hear that. This was when the admissions director came in and spoke to our interview group yesterday.

Also Accepted via status and no email. Totally pumped, excellent school and I could be very happy here.

I believe so. When you proceed to the tuition deposit page from TMO it says that the $100 is necessary to complete your application and that by clicking the a box you accept admission to the school. It also says it's refundable.

And congrats to everyone.
 
I interviewed september 16. I'm so pumped! Congrats everyone.
By the way, if you click explain this status--the year is wrong! Whoops haha

YES!!! I am from CALI and I JUST GOT ACCEPTED!! WOOHOOOO!!!!:banana::banana::banana:
 
I interviewed 9/22. I am assuming a rejection...I am pretty sure they would send all of the acceptances at the same time. Although, it is kind of weird that some people are getting emails and others aren't.

I interviewed 9/14, my status still says interview completed. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I was interviewed on October 7th and was accepted via email today. Weird...
