2010 Pearson Practice test CHANGED my answers for verbal!?

I just started the 2010 new practice test and after finishing verbal I got 12 wrong so in my study notebook I wrote down which 12 I got wrong and then went back to review my answers- I looked at all of the explanations, but really focused on the 12 I got wrong.

BUT as I was going back I realized a ton of my answers were changed to answers I never choose. So I went back to the review and now it showed 24 wrong and everything was changed- I DON'T GET IT. After I went through the questions I really did get the original 12 wrong and nothing else and I even hit the view score report for this subtest when i was seeing 12 wrong, but it wouldn't open and now every time I go to the review it shows the wrong 24 wrong and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED!

Now when I get to my work pc which is all updated I can hopefully see my subtest score report but if it's based on when my answers get switched then it's not going to help and now it's going to mess up my over all scores? Is that not defeating the whole purpose of me doing this test to see my scores?

I'm so mad because when I hit view score report it said you wont be able to change answers and I was like "that's fine, I got 12 wrong and I want to score report to tell that so I know what I would get". And then the system changes my answers...? nice... real nice...

Can someone help me, I'm so frustrated...

That actually happened for one of my exams too... The first verbal section that I had scored changed around my answers. But it didn't happen again after that so hopefully you won't run into any more troubles.

Same thing happened to me but it happened on the bio section. I think it happened after I went back to change my answer for a particular question. When I was done and submitted the section for a score report I noticed at least 10 of my answers had been switched (all to the incorrect answers of course)

No biggie its just a practice test, I know from the answers how many I got wrong. As long as it doesnt happen on the real thing!

Wow that sucks!!! i hope that doesn't happen to me when i take the remaining two practice tests. If I were you, I would call them and explain the situation. It appears that this is a common problem, so I'm sure they might be able to reset the test for you. Make sure you have written down all the answers that you chose before they do this, that way you can click on the same answers after they reset it and see what score you would have got. I know it sounds like a pain but it seem this may be your only option.

I think this happens because of the scroll wheel on your mouse. Once you click an answer, then scroll up or down without first clicking on a blank part of the page, it will scroll your answer up or down. make sense?

so this happened to me as well, but I don't think it was due to me scrolling up or down.

do you guys know if theres a way to fix this? because I would like to know what percentile would i get. I did horrible on the reading and verbal :/
