Hello Friends,

I thought we should start a thread here for those of us that are applying for MPH in Harvard and JHU to post their statistics so that we can have fun while the waiting goes on.

Secondly, It would be nice if those already in these schools can help us post their statistics, this will serve as motivation for us as we wait.

Thanks folks!

Hello,
I am an international applicant.
GRE: Q730, V600, AW 4.0.
Accepted into JHU (as well as Emory, U Minnesota) already, but awaiting Harvard (1st choice).

Would really appreciate input from current students of these schools.
Regards.

Your stats are really good. I think you have a good chance at Harvard. I am also looking to Harvard as well.
Please we will need more posters to get this thread fired up!

I've applied and am waiting for Harvard's decision *crossing fingers*

Stats: 770 Q, 640 V, 4W
BS at USC in Occupational therapy (3.4 GPA)
MA at USC in Occupational therapy (3.6 GPA)
Worked as a clinician for 4 years in Nor Cal

I've been accepted into Columbia, Yale and UCLA. First choice is Harvard. Second is Yale. Regardless, I know the future will be awesome!

I wish everyone the best of luck! 🙂

I applied to SM2 Health Policy & Management, management track.

Stats: 630Q 490V 5.0W
BS in Respiratory Care at UT Health Science Center at SA, 3.9 GPA
Overall GPA 3.75
Going on 3yrs as a pediatric RT/ECMO specialist
Going on 8yrs working in health care
First generation high school/college grad/URM

I've been accepted into Columbia and UCLA so far. Rejected at Yale. Harvard would be awesome, I attended their open house and found it very inviting and not as intimidating as I imagined. Still waiting to hear back from NYU (Wagner), Hopkins, and UTHSC-Houston. So far UCLA is my first choice due to their professors and research interests I can pursue while doing the MPH in health services management.

I'm applied to the MHS at JHU in Epi and SM in Epi at Harvard.

Stats:
3.7 GPA
770Q 670V 5.5
3 years research experience

Accepted: UW MPH in Epi/MCH track, Emory MSPH in Epi
Rejected: Berkeley
Waiting: Harvard, JHU, UBC (Canada)

Does anyone know when we should expect to hear from JHU or Harvard?

* I applied. Good thing i proofread my personal statements more carefully!

Has anyone heard any info from Harvard about any sort of "accepted students' day" for visiting? I emailed admissions to ask this morning, but I haven't heard back yet. Maybe they send that info out with acceptances, but I want to make sure that I can attend if I get in, and I need to know when to schedule some of my visits to other schools...

PeriEpi, JHU said they just began reviewing their masters applications so it should be maybe just a couple weeks is what the department told me at least 🙂

Thank you MPH4LIfe! Hope we all hear within the next few weeks...
Can't wait until all the decisions are in - this is such a long process!
