I was wait listed back in November from an October interview. Anyone know when the wait list will start moving? Any suggestions to show my interest in the school other than a LOI?

I would just keep them updated on your recent activities and combine that with your statements of continued interest. [email protected] is the place to send updates. They won't confirm that they've received them, but they are receptive to updates

I interviewed on Novemebr 14 and I am still with an adcom member. Tried emailing them for details but they responded with a vague, general answer. Anyone else in the same boat? 🙁

That's absolutely miserable... Have you tried calling them?? When I called, they were able to see that there was a problem and fix it. The next day my status changed and my application started moving through the system like it should have been before, so who knows what the hold up was, but my phone call seemed to get the ball moving. Can't hurt at this point, right?

kind of expected based on my faculty interview but I was just rejected here via snail mail post-inteview, final decision status last Friday. Congrats to those accepted!

I didn't. I wouldn't read too much into that though because there seem to be plenty of accepted applicants who never got that email. Per the office, letters were sent out yesterday morning, so it may take a bit longer to reach some.

My status says that my app will be reevaluated later in the season. It's said this since Sep/Oct I believe. When is "later in the season?" I feel that this is a rejection but no rejection letter/email/status update has been sent yet.

Just got mine via snail mail, 2K perkins (Max), 0 Sub Stafford (No longer available for prof/grad stud), 40.7K Unsub Stafford, No scholarships. This left 28.4K that needs to be covered by Grad Plus loans or some other means.

I had that hold status for a few months, sent a letter of interest, and then received an interview invitation shortly after. I think they actually re-review everyone with that status when they choose interviewees. It's not a definitive rejection.

I hope that is the case. I sent an update letter after that too, but wasn't offered an interview after that. The wait is killing me slowly.

Edit: On my financial aid form that came in the packet, it gives me actual monetary values for the two different Stafford loans.. I submitted my FAFSA two months ago, so does anyone know if this is the aid they're going to offer me? Or will they send something else? Thanks!

Congrats on the acceptance!!! Did you mean the two values for PIL and IFM? Apparently tuition for M1 year is different for PIL and IFM (PIL is 2k more) which might explain the different Stafford Loan values.

Wondering this myself, currently in the "re-review" boat. Perhaps you should update them on your declining health status. Be sure to make it eloquent, because a posthumous MD is not very practical, or useful for that matter.

P.S. Sorry for the satire, just trying to make the best of this limbo period.

Go ahead and fill out your FAFSA. Select the school (s) you think you will matriculate in (this could include Drexel). When the fog clears out, you can then streamline (if necessary) your selection to just one school (the one you finally decide to attend)

Unfortunately, there's a "under review with the admissions committee" update after the "file is with committee member" status...I know since I just changed from one to the other. Just more waiting for another status change!
