Since it's been three weeks, I can only assume there wasn't any good news to be had from the folks at NEOMED. If anyone's wondering, I was able to tease some information out of the Admissions Office:
1) The bad news: You are where you are on the waitlist. They'll accept updates, but if you're 50/80, you're going to be 50/80 no matter what.
2) The good news: The last several years (so sayeth Admissions) they've pulled deep into the list. Supposedly they burned through the top 2/3 of the list, and pulled a few from the bottom third. So if you're hovering around 50% or higher, I wouldn't lose hope! 🙂
3) The waitlist should move twice: once around 15 May (when matriculants have to give up all but one acceptance), and again in mid to late June (due to BS/MD attrition rates). This is obviously good if you're holding out hope (high five if you are), but if you're locked in somewhere else and holding out for NEOMED, there's a chance you'll get the call too late.
