Thanks for the support. It's hard to stay positive when everyone except me seems to have received the email.
 
I got the email today at 340 PM. Seemed a lot of people may have withdrawn. I'm expecting that if they're emailing us about "still being interested" then there's a good chance we'll wind up with an acceptance. Hopes aren't up TOO high though yet...Good luck all. OH NO, no the problem could come up....different school with a scholarship or FSM with likely none?!
 
I'm on the waitlist, but did not receive an email 🙁.
 
Haven't heard anything back today as of yet. I shot admissions a quick call to find out a bit more of what it meant but didn't get a great answer. The lady said that if I don't hear something back by tomorrow then I should probably call back. She said dean wallace had been in and out of the office all day. Maybe this means there's a fairly quick turnaround on this after you get the email? Idk but I'm hoping for good news. I'd be so stoked to get into feinberg!
 
I just received an email from Dean Warren offering me a spot off the waitlist.

I also received the "are you interested" email from him yesterday.

yo yo yo. so i had left a message with the admissions office and got a call today about 330 while driving home from work. they put be through to doc wallace and we talked for a few about what the email meant. he said (obviously) it wasn't an acceptance and that it was mostly a way to make the wait list more efficient to go through. he also said something along the lines of "don't withdraw your acceptances but still keep your hopes high." he said that i should expect to hear a decision back in the next few days which is pretty exciting! so here's to hoping
 
That seems like some pretty decent news. May not mean an acceptance for a while, but not bad news at all!
 
That sounds so exciting! I hope you guys all hear good news soon! It's nice of Dean Wallace to fill you in on what's going on.
 
I got an offer from Dean Wallace as well today 😀 truly couldn't be more excited!
 
No word back from Feinberg yet today. Guess that means I'll be waiting till Monday for my next oppo
 
I was offered a week to make my decision on whether to take the spot or not - though if you're waiting for your financial aid package, it's a week from receiving it, so it might be a bit before there's more waitlist movement.
 
Can we do our financial aid package right now? I was told to wait until I was accepted to get all the needed information in and get an aid award offered back.
 
I did too, simply because mine is complicated and it's a lot of info to pull together in a short time. You can't get your financial aid package until you've been offered acceptance, but once you do and they have all of your info, it doesn't take them very long (within a day or two). If you're truly serious about northwestern, I'd go ahead and send it in - makes the process much smoother.
 
Yeah, I submitted my financial aid app as a wait lister just because I wanted to get it out of the way before finals crept up on me.

Thanks for the info, y'all. I just sent in all the needed information to their financial aid office. Haha, all expect the nonsensical $28 Need Access Form (don't they know EVERYTHING there is to know about my and my parent's income from the full W2s and tax returns?!). I'll keep that $28 in my pocket until if/when they shoot an acceptance my way. Here's hoping for Monday!
 
I have a feeling that there won't be any movement for atleast a week after the last batch went out. So Thursday/Friday at the earliest. Not holding my breath at this point though

Gotta convince my parents. They don't get this whole med school thing and were excited I was gonna be at BU cuz its close to home, waiting on financial aid too. But god I want to go here!!!!!!

Just got my financial aid information. I'm definitely going. So happy!!!
 
After much deliberation, I've decided to release my offer.
