Interviewed 10/11 and just got "correspondence sent" status
 
My status just changed to "correspondence sent" as well. I interviewed 10/18 at St Luke's. Is it unusual for the statuses to change on a Wednesday? I thought most people got correspondence sent on Fridays or Mondays...
 
just got "correspondance sent" -- Interviewed end of Oct

anyone else think this was a weird day of the week to get this status?
 
ahhh mine still says interview complete, interviewed mid-late october. i hope they haven't gotten to me yet and its not a waitlist. i feel like they usually send that status to accepted people first...
 
For those accepted, about how long after your status changed to "correspondence sent" did you have to wait before you found out? I was lookin at the last round it seemed like it was about a week so I'm hoping for a Thanksgiving eve acceptance...
 
interviewed the second week of October and still interview complete.

I interviewed at St. Luke's... it seems it takes a week to find out, so we'd find out the day before thanksgiving...hopefully something "to be thankful for"
 
I just interviewed at Temple yesterday, and I just wanna say that this school impressed the hell out of me. The environment is so friendly and relaxed, and both my interviews were extremely low-stress. So for those of you that have yet to interview: don't be nervous, just be excited!
 
when does temple finish interviewing and when is the earliest date available?

been under review since the beginning of the cycle.

Same, mine just changed too. I think we were there on the same day.. good luck! I hope we both are pleasantly surprised 🙂

My dad just called me and said I have a letter from temple med school at home... Status changed yesterday, no email :-(

did anyone get a status change today?
what time does the change usually occur?
 
interviewed 10/13 in philly. my status changed to "correspondence sent" a last friday (just over a week ago) and still nothing!! i'm very anxious... i know the last batch heard back a week later... so it seems their method of notification has changed a bit.... i live in PA so a WL letter would get here within a couple days so i don't what is going on...

any others in a similar situation? has anyone else heard back since last week's update? i called temple but the recording stated that they have no information for applicants regarding statuses... so i didn't want to push it by disregarding the message and talking with admissions anyway. ugh! any insight anyone?

sorry 🙁 but it's still early and since you had an early interview i bet your stats are pretty good, so you probably have a good chance of getting off the WL... eventually.. hang in there!

mine changed last friday mid-day as well.

Just be patient and stop freaking out. Also, you should get an email well before a snail mail letter if you're accepted. The acceptance letter got to my house over a week after I was accepted via email and already paid the deposit.

yea i know all that. i'm really just wondering if philly people with "correspondence sent" statuses as of last week have heard anything either way. i'm not "freaking out". just curious as to the hold up and if others have heard anything yet. but thanks.
 
I find it very interesting there haven't been any acceptances posted here since the 5th. While it definitely looks like they've changed things up a bit this year (correspondence sent seemed to always mean WL last year), I expect a bunch of acceptance emails to go out on Wednesday. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I really hope you're right! My interview was over a month ago and I still haven't gotten the correspondence sent status that everyone seems to have. I really like this school so I hope I dont have to wait til after thanksgiving to find out! show me some love temple!!

I kind of was in the same boat. Probably my second or third secondary, and looking back, my secondary was not as great as it could have been.

Just be patient. I had an interview there at the end of October. Now reading the essay, it's not so bad 🙂. Just be patient, I'm sure it's a fine essay.

Ha very similar to what i did! wrote my "why temple" nearly entirely about a student org. They just invited me for an interview last week, but i've withdrawn. The point being, hopefully they will look past your not so great secondary and invite you!

Does anyone know how soon after acceptance I risk losing my spot if I don't pay the deposit? I couldn't find it online or on the status page.

Haha no I understood, I was just congratulating you on your interview invite, but you withdrew your app, hence my - "sort of?"
 
Folks that have been complete since late Sept./early Oct.....what have you heard? I haven't heard squat. A'ight Temple, you can remove your proverbial foot from my spleen any time now....:meanie:

Do they send II's by snail mail or email?

Complete since first week in Oct. Haven't heard anything either...
 
does anyone who interviewed the week of 17-21st still have interview complete as there status? We get correspondence no matter if its waitlist,accept,or reject correct?
gahhh i was hoping to find out before thanksgiving
