Has anybody that interviewed at St. Luke's in early November heard anything?

I was invited for an interview last week, and they offered me a spot this week and next week.

They accepted a bunch of us on that day last year, too, myself included. 🙂 It was great. My family likes to go around the table and say what we're thankful for, and I surprised them all with the news when it was my turn. 😀

When I got the email on my phone I was on a segway tour with my family...I seriously wish I was kidding.
It's probably a good thing those things have a gyroscope because I literally about fell off the thing when I read the email.

The website has tantrums sometimes. I tried to pay my deposit 3 times before it finally let me. Try again tonight or tomorrow.

I received the e-mail invitation last Wednesday and was able to schedule an interview for next week. Since I'm from CA, I called like at 7-8 am and someone was there to pick-up the phone.

The last interview dates for this year are next week--then Temple will close for the holidays. They will release January interview dates this coming Friday. Hope that helps.

Nope, still interview complete. I was there 11/1. Sigh. My friend interviewed at St. Luke's last cycle on 11/1/2010 and heard the news (acceptance) on Christmas Eve, so I'm predicting a similar outcome.

So on Temple's website under the "Send Us Stuff" tab, it says to please refrain from sending transcripts unless they are requested, or if you've completed a required course. Does this mean that we shouldn't send them updates regarding our fall grades?

Unless they ask you for transcripts, or they are pre-reqs, then my guess would be No. However, I do not see why you couldn't discuss your performance this Fall in an update letter. From what you asked, it seems that this restriction only applies to transcripts, and not general updates. I am in the process of writing update letters myself. Hope this helps!

yeah i'm sure ou could mention them in an update letter. and if they then request for validation of those grades, you can send your transcript 🙂

It's been a little over 5 weeks for me. I'm thinking of calling next week to see if there's been a decision made yet. Or maybe they're just waiting to surprise us for Christmas! 🙄

At my interview, one of the people who spoke to us said that the speed of your decision depends entirely on your interviewer. Some interviewers are slow to review/sign off on whatever they have to forward to admissions, some do it right away. I think that's what accounts for the difference in response times...luck of the draw. If you interviewed before Thanksgiving, it probably wouldn't hurt to call this week (before they go on break) to see if your application is on track.

I was under review from July as well...but just received an Interview. So there is hope!!

My friend interviewed Dec. 6, and under her status it now says "Correspondence Sent." Because the decision was made so quickly, does this more likely indicate a rejection or waitlist decision? Or could they have been so ecstatic that they accepted her immediately?

See my post 3 posts up. Your friend most likely got lucky and had an interviewer who reviews their interviewees quickly. I interviewed 10/18 and was accepted 11/5 with "correspondence sent" before that, so a quick turnaround might be a good thing! 🙂

i called to inquire about my app (i interviewed 6 weeks ago) and she said she'd put a note in with the admissions director saying i havent received any info. she asked for my phone number but i live abroad so i couldnt give her one. i want a phone call!! >_<

Accepted today! My interviewer (who was the man) called me to let me know. No email or anything. First acceptance so I'm incredibly excited.

I interviewed last Wednesday so it was a real quick turnaround. I wouldnt worry for those that interviewed before me, I'm sure mine was only so fast bc he was the former dean and he's probably great about filling out his evaluation quickly. Good luck to everyone

Just got the acceptance email at the airport on my way home for the holidays!!! I didnt get a phone call and i interviewed back on nov16 so i was gettig worried 🙂 dont see anything special on the status website though (which the email told me to go check for more info). Status still says correspondence sent. But yay!

with that northwestern acceptance already under your belt, I'd say you don't need the luck! plus I'm sure your acceptance is right around the corner. I interviewed 10/20 (yes, that's october) and just found out, so no rush!
