Did all of us that have 'correspondence sent' interview at St.Luke's? Or are there some from the Philly pool as well? ...For us St. Luke's interviewees, I vaguely remember my interviewer saying that they make decisions at the end of October @St. Luke's (and this might explain our correspondence sent status) BUT they have to send all the materials to Philadelphia for them to send out letters. So, this may be the delay.

I interviewed at St. Luke's on Oct 4, and my status still says "Interview Complete"

I remember them saying that they made decisions at the end of October, and judging by last years thread people who interviewed at St. Lukes in October found out ~ Nov. 11/12

Hey everyone, I'm in that same batch. I interviewed at St. Luke's on 10/11, received an correspondence sent status update on Friday and still have yet to receive anything in the mail or by e-mail. Hopefully we will all hear soon.

I've had "correspondence sent" since Friday but have yet to receive anything, though I haven't checked today. Still, I'm within 250 miles of Philly.

I got the "correspondence sent" status on Monday. Just received the waitlist letter 🙁

Nope, nothing yet for me either...really wandering whats going on. Seems out of the ordinary for Temple.

Has anyone called temple asking if they sent anything out?

Hey guys, just wanted to come on here and let you all know that I interviewed during one of the first weeks in October, had "Correspondence sent" status since last Thursday (I was pooping my pants), and just got accepted (the email came at 12:55 am). I was in the philly pool if that helps. I'm super excited; Temple really impressed me during the interview day!

that week of suspense was worth it - i just got accepted too. if only someone i know was awake to enjoy it with me....

ACCEPTED! Got an email at 12:53 on a Friday night. Correspondence updated last Friday!

Accepted!!!! Woke up to pleasant surprise. Correspondence sent status on 10/28

Did you interview at Philly or St Luke's? I interviewed 10/18 at St Luke's.

Congrats to everyone accepted! Anyone from St. Luke's, around 10/11 still at Interview Complete? Judging from this year so far, "Correspondence Sent" means acceptance in most cases...Anyone gone directly from Interview Complete to Acceptance? Thanks, good luck all!

I interviewed at St Luke's 10/11... The consensus for now is correspondence sent comes either way & from what I gather of you get that status on a Friday it's an acceptance and if it comes on a Monday it's a waitlist.

Congratulations to all the new acceptances, and good luck to the waitlisters, either in getting off the WL here or getting accepted to another school you like more. 🙂

Does anyone know when Temple's second look day is?

Mind sharing your stats and when you were complete?

I didn't receive a "complete" email but I submitted secondary and had everything in by 9/30

stats: 36, 3.83c/3.94s, PA resident

Definitely liking Temple from what I've heard/read. Can't wait to tour the school so that I can get a better feel.

Anyone know something about the MD/MPH program? Ive tried to call and get information but so far no one has been able to help me much.. Id really like to speak with a student whos doing it if possible and see what they have to say...

Please let me know if you find out any info 🙂

Hey guys, I'm interviewing at Temple this upcoming week. For those of you who have interviewed, how much preparation did you do? Do you think that mock interviews are useful, or is it better to just go in and have a conversation with your interviewer?

I had a mock interview a week before my Temple interview and it helped ALOT. just me opinion though 🙂

The interviews are very low stress with the usual questions: tell me about yourself, talk about research, talk about clinical, why temple, why medicine, talk about [insert AMCAS activity here]

I really didn't do much preparation except for reviewing the school's website and my secondary.

My student interviewer was amazing, but I was a little apprehensive during my faculty interview since he did not engage in conversation at all. Just questions.

both of mine were pleasant conversations. even when i was asked questions, they were conversational, though related to my application. i suppose it depends on who you get. it was my favorite interview day i've been on so far. everyone is so nice. don't stress.

but advice for any interview - know your app. sometimes you get a hardass interviewer who reads your activity description, and keeps asking for MORE. i described a patient who impacted my decision to pursue medicine and one interviewer asked me to describe two more in detail. one asked me what the lab i worked at 3-4 years ago is doing NOW. so know your app front and back, but be relaxed.

For those who interviewed - anyone go over the 30min mark by far? I have a 2pm and 2:30pm interview, and just bought a bus ticket (Bolt Bus) that leaves at 4:15... might have been too close but that was by far my best option :-/

I also had 2pm and 2:30pm interviews. First interview lasted from 2 to 3:10. My 2:30 interviewer had another interview at 3pm, so I had to wait until about 3:40pm. That interview proceeded to last until 4:30pm. This was at St. Luke's though. But you never know how long the interviews will last, really. It depends on how much you talk and how much the interviewer asks questions.

I interviewed 10/11 at St. Luke's but haven't yet heard back. Status still at Interview Complete...Does anyone know if they've sent out all the acceptances from that period of time? Thanks!

My 2 and 2:30 interviews got pushed back--they rescheduled on the day of my interview, with one running overtime, so I ended up being done after 4.

This may be completely wrong, but I think I read somewhere that your acceptance will come directly from St Luke's and not from Temple? Maybe they have to review your app twice or something (like once at Temple like all regular applicants, plus an additional review for St. Luke's)? Just postulating here. Hope you guys get answers soon! :luck:

I interviewed 10/4...judging by last years thread, I'm anticipating something tomorrow...but some people have already gotten accepted

This may be random, but can any Temple students and/or Philly residents let me know of a good sports bar where I can catch the Pacquiao fight Saturday? Thanks! 🙂

waitlisted a few days ago (interviewed 10/11)...from Nebraska, c3.78/s3.71, 30ish MCAT

congrats to those accepted, and here's to us waitlisters waiting!
