I'm sold now. Number one choice. cant wait for my interview in 3 weeks

Well the video is a classic, 105% brilliant, I'm going to make everyone I know watch it. Now I really hope I go to A&M temple. Good luck with second year!

This is so amazing. Queen has been one of my favorite bands for years. I did my own parody of Bohemian Rhapsody with some friends yearss ago, but it definitely was not as epic as this one! Ours was like Wayne's World's version and it just incorporated some stuff from our lives. Kudos man... Kudos..
 
I'm extremely excited about this one, I interview on the 18th. I wanted the august 11th interview, but I have an interview at Tech El Paso already. I hope the invites continue to come in to everyone else soon!
 
I just wanted to double check, everybody has had a long period where they were "Pending" on the BAMF site right? With the long period being ~2-4 weeks from what I gather?

Unfortunately the pending period varies. Mine took almost two months, while others went through in a couple weeks. Might want to call if it's been over six weeks.
 
Just got an interview invite! :soexcited: I was assigned Temple.

Me 2 SanAn lol. I submitted on the 3rd of June so who knows what the deal was but yeah, I just checked and I am under review too, which is a relief. I wonder why ours took so much longer, almost 2 months to get done and it is even more strange that we submitted so close to the same time. Oh well, it's all done now, hopefully in the next couple months we both get that lil e-mail telling us to come on down.
 
btw, grats to all the interview getters, let us know how they go and what they are like. Good luck down there.
 
Have there been more Temple invites than CS? Here's to hoping they are just waiting to give me a CS invite because I'll be there for the next 4 months.

Im wondering how they choose which ones to give out. I think i got CS since its where I'll be. THey might pick closest to where you go to college ? I dunno

I think it's completely random because both my hometown and my college's location are closer to CS but I got assigned to Temple. I even read on last year's thread (or was it the year before) that someone got assigned to Temple although they live in CS.

Maybe that first week of June accidentally got shuffled a few weeks back!? At least we are under review and can breathe a sigh of relief, for now. Yes, please find it our way lil email lol😛
 
It doesn't seem that there is any correlation with completion date and interview invites does it?

I'm not in a position to give any input unfortunately, but eventually I'll be able to give an answer lol. There probably is but it is more likely to be more noticeable later in the season as the interview schedule is winding down. At the beginning there is probably less of a correlation as lots of early applications get later interviews. Later applicants can only get later interviews so then the correlation seem more true. There is probably a correlation but I doubt it is that strong for early applicants compared to late applicants.
 
So how does the application reviewing process work? are the first interviews for the high echelon of prospective students and then everyone else gets interviews later on or is it first come first serve kind of?

I guess my question was more of. They choose what campus you interview at and you only interview at one correct? I guess my question was a bit vague lol. Also, is there anything that sways them where to put you?

Right. Its at random. They used to do it at both campuses i think.

You guys need to make another one after M2 - but you probably won't have any time.
I really liked the Rebecca Black "Friday" and "Hangover" car scenes you guys threw in there. Subtle.
 
Went under review in the morning, got an interview invite at 4 for the 18th, but rescheduled for the 25th. I feel so validated.

Ha, it's funny how many people missed this.

As much as we would love to make another one, I don't think there's ever going to be time to do something like this again.
