Is anyone else applying for MD/MPH? I'm having a hard time picking a department.. good thing we can switch later!
 
Anyone else complete lately?Submitted on Oct. 12th and still waiting 🙁
 
Has anyone received an interview invite recently? I was complete in early September. Still waiting.

+1, allegedly they send out invites 30 days before the scheduled date. could be that they aren't gonna have any interviews around christmas time. i would keep an eye out for invites next week sometime.
 
It doesn't look like any posters have been rejected post-interview. Anyone know of an exception?
 
So the acceptance range email seems to welcome sending additional information...I have new grades from summer study abroad on my transcript, but I'm not sure if they're worth sending. Thoughts?

Based on the memo that was in our interview folders, you could get rejected if you average less than a rating of 2, but it seems like it's pretty rare for someone to get rejected post interview. I do wonder however if the "majority of interviewed candidates" really are on the Acceptance Range list because it seems like everyone on SDN until today has been accepted except for a couple.

I thought the cut off was an average less than 3

I received my complete e-mail end of September and haven't been rejected or invited for interview... I guess I passed the first round of selection?

It's better than being on "hold" and knowing the chance of an II after is 0.0007%

Thank goodness for Thanksgiving. Maybe I'll give SDN a break then.
 
Hi I'm a bit embarrassed about this, but I need some help! I have an interview at Tulane on Monday, but for the life of me I can't find the email from the admissions committee with the schedule. Could someone in the know please tell me where we meet. Even better, if you have the text of the email invitation please message me with it! Thanks in advance ...

Today marks two weeks from my interview date. They said we should hear in two weeks, but I'm thinking since last week was Thanksgiving... it may be a bit delayed? Anyone know?

Flasheh. he/she misinterpreted ur "check you inbox" in the negative way. I actually understood it as u sent it to his inbox the message lol 🙂
 
Did those who were accepted send thank you letters? I just had my interviews yesterday and called today to ask where we should send thank you letters but was told that it was discouraged...

I really loved Tulane and I'd really like to thank my interviewers but I guess I shouldn't?

You won't get in if you don't send a thank you letter.

Seriously, if they told you "don't," then I think that's all you need.

I didn't send letters, and it was fine. Don't worry, and don't send them if they told you not to.
 
I just sent letters directly to the interviewers...found their school mailbox addresses online. But I guess if they told you not to send anything, then don't worry about it.

Interviewed 11/4. Received acceptance status e-mail on 11/22.

I sent emails and still got in, so don't worry. 🙂

I'm not sure why it would be discouraged.. I think it's always polite.

I interviewed just a couple days before you, but haven't heard anything... now I'm nervous...
