Do we think acceptances will be sent out about the same time as last year? Or does there seem to be a general trend for it to be later this year? Also, how far after an interview would you expect to hear? 1-2 weeks?

I thought waiting to hear about interviews was the worst. But waiting to hear something after interviews is just as bad...Hurry up April!!
I know! I interviewed with two schools on the 4th and 9th and it's driving me crazy waiting to find out! I know that they haven't sent them out yet, but seriously....get a move on it! 😱
I don't have any updates, but I asked the person who had already gotten in to PM his/her info and (s)he said that (s)he had gotten an acceptance on Fri from Prof. X and a friend got an acceptance on Mon from Prof. Y.
So.... maybe different POIs are contacting students at different times?? At least, that's what I'm telling myself

I know what you mean. I've started dreaming about interviewing and getting accepted at various schools -- there is no place left to escape the stress!!
This process might seriously kill me!!

on grad cafe it says for Duke University Clinical Psychology that there was an e-mail saying you could check your status on their application website and that some people had rejection letters on 2/16/2011 and 2/17/2011. What if we never received an e-mail? Should I call about the decision? Does anyone have any information?
Has anyone heard anything from george mason? its been two weeks since the interview...
I was accepted to Widener's PsyD program yesterday via a letter in the mail. I interviewed on 2/9

While I can't speak specifically to Yale's program, most offers/rejections from mentor-based programs are dependant on the timing of each mentor's initial date of offering. Sometimes there is a delay with one offer being held while waiting for another, other times multiple offers are made before there is an acceptance, etc.
If it were closer to April, then I'd say the responses would be quicker either way, but it is still early enough in the cycle that 1st choice offers are stilling being figured out.

For those of you who got wait list notifications for Temple, congrats (although I understand the ambivalent feeling you may have)! Would you mind PMing me your POIs? I would really appreciate it.
I interviewed at a school 2 weeks ago - how long do school usually take to tell you? also, it seems like the schools are not letting people know about acceptances as quickly as they did last year. Is this just me??

It was a phone call from the program director (who happened to be the person I interviewed with). 🙂
Congrats bunderj! I am still waiting to hear. I am under the impression that only those who interviewed with the director get a call, the rest of us e-mail or letter. (At least that is what I am hoping!🙁 )

I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you! I do think you're right about the phone/email distinction, btw. He even mentioned in the interview that he prefers to extend offers via phone, but others tend to email or send letters. I am not sure yet about accepting! I really like the program, but I have another offer at my top choice (I am too superstitious to post the school here so far, because it was an email telling me an offer is coming, but is not an "official offer" yet), so I am strongly considering that too. I feel pretty lucky to have heard on the early side, I NEVER thought it would happen to me! Best of luck to you too!

I got an email invite today for LaSalle PsyD on 3/14.

I think that is very smart. Well, congrats on getting into your top choice and LIU. Keep me posted about any decisions. I'll let you know if I hear from LIU - that is my #1 choice. Maybe we will be future cohort buddies.

So unfortunately, from now on I will only be updating the first page with schools that are PMed.
