I was told that the last official day for interviewing was Wednesday, March 13 and that they haven't finalized their season yet. And that if my status changes (pre-interview), I will be notified by email. So I am assuming if no email, then that is a reject. Does anybody know how they usually reject (email or snail mail or neither meaning silent rejection). I hate to email them so much or call them.

So...another week at least?

So stressful.

Have they already given out some rejections at least?

If I go here and want to be a radiologist would that be a bad choice of school? I'm white by the way and live in GA.

No, according the their match list last year that they gave out at the interviews they had 6 radiology matches (with a small class size)

It doesnt matter where you go really depending on what you want to do, its all about what you put in and show your interest

Does Morehouse require you to serve the community in an underserved area to graduate? And what other schools in georgia require this? Also is the school totally focused towards primary care? And what schools in georgia are focused on primary care? Thanks for answers, it's hard to glean this information from their website

He said that I would get an update next week.

Any idea if this is bad or neutral news?

I interviewed February 22nd and he said that my group wouldn't hear anything until after march 18th due to match day... So it could be good news

I emailed Brandon, and all he said was that they're sending out notifications this week. So, we should know something by next week. All this waiting is making my stomach ache.

Oh wow so they are sending by mail. I thought he said by email. But yeah this waiting is crazy

I thought the same thing, but I don't know. It sounds like it's by mail, which, to me, is even worse.

Yea, Everytime I call or email, Mr. Hunter's reply "is we are currently in the process of reviewing your application so you should expect an email by next week". This happened probably 3 times in the past few months, so I'm thinking it's a silent rejection too

Is that mail or email?

I tried to email him too and all I got was that post interview updates would begin to be sent the beginning of next week. I asked whether by email or mail but he didn't answer that question

Oh well. Hopefully, some people will start posting when they find out. It's just nice to know a general timeline. Now it's just the waiting game. 🙁

Rejected by email today too pre-interview. Longest wait only to be rejected. Oh well...good luck to everyone still in limbo.

did not make it past this batch of rejections either....indifferent about it though...

After coming back from a much needed vacation, I received an email saying I was placed on the alt list. I interviewed in October and at times its definitely been hard to think positive, but I'm so blessed and excited to know that I still have a chance. MSM is definitely my first choice 🙂

Waitlisted as well...interviewed Feb. 22nd. Looking at past threads, movement on the list did not occur until mid April and ended early June.

I was wondering if anybody has gotten the immunization and medical records form that we have to turn in? I just submitted my residency form, which I only got because I emailed Brandon hunter....

I was wondering if anyone have seen any data on how many people get off the waitlist on average every year off an approximate total number of people on the waitlist?

Good luck to all of you hoping to get into Morehouse! I'm graduating this year but I was one of those who were on the waitlist and I didn't get accepted until the beginning of June. This happened to at least one other classmate of mine as well so don't give up. Continue to show interest in the school by keeping in touch with admissions. Good luck again!!
