I interviewed in January. I then received an update in Feb saying that my file was still under consideration, and no final decision had been made. I sent an update in march and Mr.Hunter said I would receive an email if my status changed. I haven't heard anything since and It appears last year that everyone received a decision of some sort during the first week of April. Based on that I find it odd that I haven't heard anything at all yet. Just wondering if anyone was in this boat with me? 😕
 
I did not receive a decision until May of last year. Keep the faith and keep in contact with them as much as possible if you have relevant updates.
 
I got notified on March 22 that I was on the alternate list. I have been sending updates but I have been told that most movement of the waitlist won't occur until May/June. I am very anxious!!! I have a scholarship waiting to be used but no Morehouse just yet 🙁. Trying to stay positive!
 
For all those who have been waitlisted, what have you guys been doing in the meantime to use as updates? I'm in need of some ideas.

Leader813, do you know if merit based scholarships are offered to individuals removed from the waitlist?

I spoke with someone in the Fin Aid office this week and she said that they are. Students accepted after the deadline of March 13th will be given a chance to receive need-based scholarships. I think you have a few days (after your accepted) to apply for these grants. Good luck!

This thread is so quiet.... Slow WL movement, but movement at least 2 people off so far tho hopefully there will be more next week!
 
I'm pretty sure we're all waiting in vain.... Does anyone know whether or not admissions will discuss your app with you???

When I last called, Michael in Admin. informed me that all alternates offered a spot had been notified - which leads me to believe that offers were made by phone and that the class is full - but this was late Monday.

I just called and the guy in admissions said they are still accepting applicants.
 
does anyone know how many acceptances they have to offer to fill their class? wonder what percentage of the class comes from the waitlist...

Just got accepted into Morehouse School of Medicine..received a call.. however not sure if i will accept.. the blessing might just be passed along!
 
Congratulations! Glad to know they are still accepting people. I'm hoping to get that call soon! This wait is killing me.
 
Got the call that I was accepted off the waitlist this morning! Funny thing was I was actually looking for grad school programs to apply to when I got accepted! Don't give up hope guys!

My friend got accepted off of the wait list a few weeks ago. Don't give up hope and good luck!!

I think we are suppose to recieve something in the mail regarding books. I haven't received it yet though.
 
Talked to the admin office Monday...was told to look out for an email in about a week or so 😕 Rejection Emails probs??? He did also say there's still a chance...but Im not overly optimistic - can any of the recently accepted wl people let the rest of the wl sdn know how long they give you to decide? (I'm assuming you all want your spot :laugh: )

I also called on Monday, and was informed that people accepted off of the waitlist have 14 days to accept. That does not leave the rest of us much time. :\
