Hmmm...AMCAS is waiting to receive my transcript, yet I've already received (and submitted) my secondary app. Are they not screening? I'm OOS.
 
FINALLY got my secondary today. Submitted it immediately, as I already had it completely pre-written and ready to go. Somehow, I was verified 7/26 yet missed the secondary waves on 8/1 and 8/15. Sent an e-mail last week, called to follow-up yesterday and got the e-mail today. One down, six more to go! 🙄
 
I also got the email saying "the issue of sending secondaries has been solved" but I did not get the actual invitation. Very frustrating...
 
Hey guys just got an interview invite today via email.

I sent my app in a couple weeks ago and its still not complete... not sure why. Its particularly frustrating because HMC is my #1.

+1 I'm waiting for it to be complete after like two weeks
 
II by email! Received 8/11, Under Review 8/20, Invite 8/29, scheduled for Sept 19th, 10:30am
 
I literally sent out my secondary and paid on Aug 6th, the same day I got it. Still not marked complete...anyone in the same boat?
 
Anyone interviewing on sept 19th, I'll be one of your student lunch panel people !

Woohoo!! I'm coming from about 3 hours away, any specific suggestions/tips/heads ups? Also, would it be prudent to stay over (I'm in the 10:30 session)? Should my parents come too?? Sooo many questions!! Sorry haha
 
Sent my secondary on August 22nd (the day after I got it), got a "complete and under review" email yesterday. I'm IS, so maybe that's why?
 
No to the parents, maybe to the staying the night. It's up to you on whether you feel comfortable driving over in the morning or not.
 
I submitted this thing in early August, like the first week, and Im still not complete. Anyone else in the same boat?

Right there with you. I didn't even notice that I wasn't complete until just now. I assumed that since I submitted a while ago I would be complete.

I don't get how so many people who submitted their secondary after others (including me) become complete in 2-3 weeks, but our applications are still stuck in the air =/ But still patiently waiting..
 
I was complete 10 days after submitting my secondary.
 
how long did it take you to go from the your app is now under review, you will hear back in several weeks e-mail to II?
 
I submitted 8/8 and I still haven't been marked as complete/under review...so roughly 4 weeks now
 
Asked them about the complete thing last week, got this the other day:

Thank you for your email. Our records indicate that your Secondary Application has been received, but it has not been determined whether your application is complete or not at this time &#8211; meaning that it is in queue and on line to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Once that determination has been made, you will be notified via email. It will be several weeks from the time of the submission of your application before this determination is made.

Please let us know what else we can do to help, and thank you for your interest in Penn State College of Medicine.
 
Haha, OK well I tried to defend PSU, but they are picking and choosing who they complete.

My stats are close to yours and I just received an interview invite today!!! :soexcited:
Complete 8/17 OOS Non-trad (3 years out of school)
