Tuesday:

Dear Applicant,

This is to advise you that the required credentials for your application have been received, and your file is now complete. Thank you.

The Admissions Committee will evaluate your application as soon as possible.

The "time factor" has no impact on our decision-making. Our last interview day of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2013. We do not fill our entire class until after that date.

Received my II, looking forward to seeing more of their school and maybe grabbing some buffalo wings after the fact

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what time interviews are? Do we get emailed the details as the interview date approaches?

I was only asked to schedule a date, but never any time or where to go etc..

The II email had the time of day when it begins, and if for some reason yours does not then it will most likely be in the packet they snail mail to you.

So I'm a little confused, on the official website it states that the average mcat is 29 but on msar it says the average is 33? Doesn't make much sense.

I believe the MSAR shows average accepted score. The website could be showing average matriculated score.

Anyone here on SDN a current student at SUNY Buffalo? If so, any discussion of you experience there would be greatly appreciated!

My status keeps on showing secondary application received. Does it mean they received my secondary or I received the secondary invitation?

However the application is not completed yet.

How long did it take for you guys to have completed the application after you submit the secondary?

same thing for me. difference is (potentially) that my committee letter materials are not in yet, but everything else is ready.

thanks, i was able to login this morning but not sure if it is submitted i got transferred to payment website, is that the last step?

I am US permanent resident and UB has asked me to send them a photocopy of my permanent resident card. There is no instruction on where to send them, should I send them directly to the office of medical admissions?

thanks!

I am just curious, how long does it take from being secondary submitted to complete? i still don't see complete on my application status page... 🙁

I think they invite all the superstar applicants this early in the season. I have friends who interviewed in March last cycle and our now attending so no need to worry yet

They said our class is around a 3.7, 32 for people attending this year. When you interview, you go into a little room and write an essay about something, listen to people talk, eat lunch and take a tour. The tour is a little long so you might want to wear comfortable shoes and put your heels on later. Then they take you to the student lounge and people come in to pick you up for an interview. I think most people were done by 4 pm so if you get a plane around 6 pm, you should have plenty of time to catch it. I interviewed in September and it did seem like a lot of the other people were top students from top schools but our class has people from all over the place.
