Anyone who interview in late Jan got their decision yet?
Not yet unfortunately...I interviewed at the very end of Jan. We should hear back in the next week though right?

They said we heard back in 4 to 6 weeks.
Do they call you and tell you of your acceptance or they send you an email/mail? what about rejections?

Acceptances get emailed and snail mailed. All others are only snail mail.

So no calls before email acceptance? One less device I have to pay attention to at work then.
I have not heard anything from this school since I submitted my secondary in September.
There is no waitlist yet, right? I don't see anyone getting waitlisted (that or the search function is broken).
If I understand correctly from the previous year, there is only a standby list and in May the waitlist will be made by choosing candidates from the standby list. Anyone with better knowledge about this process mind chiming in?

What does that mean? Our anatomy lab is great... It was actually one of the best ones I saw when I was interviewing. I really don't understand.
Jumping in on the thread for a quick question for the IN-STATE people
Im a California resident. Hispanic with avg stats. 3.7GPA, 30MCAT.
I was looking on this thread and see that this school is in state heavy but does accept some OOS. Are the OOS acceptances usually neighboring states or people with strong state ties?
Like i mentioned, im from CA, with ZERO state ties to Ohio. trying to compile my list of schools for the 2013-2014 cycle. if i have a very slim shot i would rather not apply.
Thank you for your help and Honesty. Congrats to everyone who got in here!

I'm also a California resident and got accepted this cycle. You should apply here. On the interview day they mentioned the number of OOS they are accepting each year is increasing. Plus, you can apply for Ohio residency after one year and get in state tuition for the remaining 3 years. Definitely worth a shot.

Thanks! Ill keep it on the list!
I got my letter yesterday-- got put on a "stand-by list" for when they make their alternate list in May. Hopefully you guys will hear better news soon!

The only school (of 26) I haven't heard a word from since I was complete in July!
+1. Thinking about calling and harassing them this morning. Are you IS by any chance?
Update: They have "completed their interview process for the year", and will not be sending out anymore interviews. Really bummed out as an IS person

I am IS, but I have already received other acceptances so I wasnt holding my breath for Wright, just thought it was interesting that it was the one school I hadn't heard from!

Me too, basically. I think they know what they want and don't spend time on the rest, which is fair.
Just throwing this out there. I got my acceptance and live near WSU, so I don't need my MCAT prep books anymore. I am selling them, will give discount to anyone who purchases locally without requiring shipping and will further discount for purchasing the entire set.
I have the entire set required to follow the fantastic SDN2 3 month study plan. I followed it myself and significantly improved my score to gain an acceptance.

PM me if you are interested, I also have more books than are listed in the study plan.

Did they say they are only reviewing January interviews? I interviewed a few weeks ago. Just curious if they were specific. Thanks!i called admissions today. The committee is meeting tomorrow to make decisions on late January interviews.

Seems to be the norm for this school

Welp, got my rejection email this morning!

Were you guys reject straight from post-interview or were you put on the standby list first?
pre interview
Rejected pre interview OOS. The silent school!
Which person?Did you get an interview? If so, were you waitlisted?
I'll answer just in case: Interviewed 2/12, my name is supposed to be on the table today. I'm going to call them right now to see what's up.
No answer, I think they're just open from 10am-3:30pm like one of the emails said.
Edit: I had my interview dates confused. I interviewed 2/12!

They should be compiling the ranked waitlist pretty soon. I think they said we'll here by April 15.
Has anyone who interviewed in late February/early March heard yet? I know they say 4-6 weeks, but given that it is close to the end of the interview cycle, I wondered if we might get info earlier.
Tom Petty's words are so true, the waiting is the hardest part...

Nope but I just hit the four week mark.
I called them and remember hearing they are sending out decisions tomorrow. You might want to call and see if your name was "on the table" this week. (Mine was.:s)
I also asked about the people that got rejections so fast this week. The person said those were the non-invite rejections.

Really hoping to hear from this school soon. I interviewed way back in October. I wonder how many people they have accepted and if the wait list moves before May 15.

You haven't heard back yet? I interviewed the last week of October and got accepted 4 weeks later...
Or are you talking about hearing about wait list movement?

Yeah, I was put on the alternate list a month later. I was just wondering when we would hear back regarding the list. Congrats btw!
Well...waitlisted.
Well...waitlisted.
You mean standby list? I thought the waitlist isn't getting compiled until later late-April to mid-May. If it is the standby list you aren't waitlisted yet.
Lol yea standby. So does that mean I could potentially not make the waitlist?
