Anyone else not getting return calls from hartwig at fci / usp Hazelton ?? I've called and left messages, and nothing. Got invite 2 weeks ago!
 
Heard from my first site today, interview at BUMC Center for Multicultural Training! I know someone already posted this around 11/23, but for those who still haven't heard yet, it definitely seems their invites are rolling! The woman who called was very nice and appeared a little overwhelmed with scheduling, so I do wonder if other calls will go out today. Interviews are Thursdays, looks like they are trying to fill 12/8 but also have dates through January.

The waiting is the hardest! Good luck to all 🙂
 
No return calls from Hazelton. I am thinking she must be on vacation. 🙂

Seconded. My notifications, both good and bad, came in clumps last year. I think at one point, I had a streak of maybe seven or eight straight rejections going before I received my next offer.
 
Just got a phone call for an invite to UMiami! Definitely takes the sting off of yesterday's rejection email. ***For those who were freaking out about not hearing from sites people are posting about, here is an example of keeping hope. I saw UMiami invites yesterday and started worrying too. I hope more good news comes my way (and everyone else's too)!
 
Has anyone heard from The Consultation Center at Yale? I know a couple folks heard from the outpatient services and the hispanic clinic.
 
Hi guys!

I noticed that the Edmonton consortium appears on the list of where people have heard back from. I don't recall seeing anybody specifically say they'd heard back from there, so I was wondering which track was notified? (or was it all of the tracks?)

I forgot to mention, yesterday I got a personalized email invite to interview at the Ottawa hospital for the neuropsychology track. I don't think that site was posted yet.

received a phone call from the director for an interview offer at the NJ VA at the East Orange campus for Friday December 9th.He said they were interview approx 10 candidates each interview day.

I received this message on November 17, so figured I had a few more days to worry about whether or not I got an interview.

"I just wanted to let you know that we have received your completed application for the Edmonton Consortium Clinical Psychology Residency.

The process from our end is that the Selection Committee will review the applications by the end of November and we should be contacting applicants regarding interviews by early December. The interviews for the Generalist stream will be on 3 - 13 January 2012. We offer both in-person and telephone interviews.

Thank you for your interest in the Edmonton Consortium. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me."
 
Slow news day...I wonder if sites are waiting to unleash the hounds on Thursday, 12/1...
 
LIJ Child Track sent an email notification that said "Please see attachment." The attachment gave 4 different dates for interviews, Jan 3rd, 5th, 9th, and 10th, and asked interviewees to rank order their preference.
 
Hey, I was wondering for those of you who received interviews from UMiami if you applied to the Student Counseling Center or a different track? I haven't heard anything from anyone and am freaking out! 😱
 
One of my friends received an invitation from University of Missouri Columbia VA...it has a different name, but it is on campus in Columbia, MO in case anyone applied.
 
1) What does LIJ stand for?
2) Has anyone received an invite from San Francisco VA? My friend applied there and I noticed some received a rejection but wasn't sure if anyone got an invite
 
I just received an email invitation to interview at DuPont Children's Hospital in Delaware. Interviews are being held Friday January 6, Monday January 9 and Friday January 13 with dates granted on a first come first serve basis.

Just received an email invite for the Minneapolis VA! :woot: The email was addressed to me, though the email itself seemed generic.

I'm having a hard time staying positive about some of this. I've had 2 rejections and no invites so far, but a LOT of the places I applied to have apparently also sent out rejections or invites, and I've heard nothing from them. I am killing myself wondering how to interpret this-- have they not looked at my application yet, or did I make the "first cut", or what?

Don't worry, I haven't heard from them yet either and one of my colleagues hasn't. I know a few people who have though.

Don't give up hope yet, as Greg said on the list-serve today most notifications come in the last two weeks. I'm sick of waiting too and often find myself thinking about what I'm going to do if I don't get interviews, but that just brings me to the bad place. We've still got time . . .

Tons of time! Who knows why some sites notify all at once, in waves, etc. Don't despair, really, it will work out.

I received the email notifcation on the 17th that my app had been recieved, with info about possible interview dates etc.. and on Friday, the 25th I recived an interview invite via email. It is just for the one track, the specialities are just rotations that would be decided upon if matched. Hope this helps..
 
Just got a personalized email indicating that I am an alternate being considered for an interview :shrug:. If someone else who gets an interview offer declines, I may get the spot. They are hoping to notify alternates of their final status by December 8. Interview dates are Jan 19 and 20.

Just got my rejection email from Asheville VA. Oh well. I think I'm more disappointed by not having an excuse to live in Asheville than anything else...Here's hoping you got some good news! 😛
 
Just got what seemed to be a mass email "Dear Internship Applicant" Rejection from Stanford Counseling Center 🙁 2 rejections, no interviews. 22 sites to go.

Hi all! Just got an email invite to interview at McLean. It looks like a lot of others did as well; they forgot to BCC us. Good luck everyone!

I didn't know either! From other people's experiences on this board it seems very unusual. But at least it's better than a rejection? The certainty of uncertainty keeps hope alive 🙂

Got my rejection e-mail as well.. BURNNN! Two in one day for me.. I am hurting.. 👎 Haha hopefully better news will be on its way..

Yeah, I hadn't heard about places doing that either. Applied last year and got rejection one day from a site followed by invite the next (saying I had been at the top of the alternate list). It puts you in a very weird position as you feel that they preferred a number of other applicants to you. Or at least that was how I felt. But they may not even remember that come interview time.
 
Rejection from Asheville VA....they completely butchered the spelling of my name! Could really use some good news soon.
 
Just got an interview offer from New York Presbyterian (Cornell Medical). It was addressed to me specifically, but looks like a form email.
