I haven't heard anything, but looks like the invites didn't go out until 12/10 last year. Talk about making fast travel plans (unless you live in CA).
 
Generic e-mail from Florida Dept. of Corrections saying they received application materials and will be reviewing in the next 2 weeks. They will notify before Dec. 14.

I'm getting antsy over here! So far I've heard from 3 of 17 sites (they've all been interviews, thank God!) but I just want to know what dates to block off and where to look for lodging and flights! Anyone else in this boat? I've applied to all forensic sites (mostly BOP and state hospitals)
 
I can't believe I haven't heard from any of my 15 sites yet! However, from perusing this forum and talking with friends, at least three of my sites have sent out interview invites (none of which I've received). This process is so draining. Is anyone else having an existential crisis?

Same, haven't heard from any of my 18 sites, but 2 have sent out invites. You're not alone! I'm definitely having something, not sure if I can call it an existential crisis. 🙂
 
Palo Alto VA invites haven't gone out yet. They always has a TON of options for interview dates, though. And they send out invites and rejections at around the same time, so at least they won't leave anyone waiting in "Am I rejected or not?" limbo.
 
Wow, 11 of 16, Ollie, that's amazing! I'm still waiting on 19!! (Though I have heard from 4, and one more is a probable rejection)
 
Nobody's heard from UCSD / VA, by chance? Should be this week sometime and it looks like they are phone invitations so I assume they will be trickling in. Last year they were made in late November.
 
Hi everyone, I took a screenshot of this very nice message from last year's forum (Posted December 4, 2012)! Please do NOT freak out because you haven't heard from majority/all of your sites... Just because others are hearing things doesn't mean that you should... we all applied to different programs/tracks, which work differently in notifying us... Soon enough we will all start hearing from them!

Yeah, I'm pleasantly surprised! I remember last year a lot of people who applied to similar site list didn't hear back til early December so it took off a load of stress to hear back earlier. I have 9 interviews including virtually all of my top choices, save for two that haven't informed anyone yet.

First interview is Friday though so now that stress can begin!

Yes, I have one interview and two rejections so far, and know that some of my other sites already extended interviews (which I did not receive). Many of these sites were what I thought were good matches. I am so confused and keep wondering where I went wrong in the application process. I did not hear a peep today and am feeling uneasy.

Applied to all forensic sites too. Mostly state hospitals, a few BOPs. Have heard from 7, all interviews, I am in complete shock about this!! Still waiting to hear from 12 sites. The 12 I am waiting on, based on my research, at least half of them typically notify around 12/12 - 12/15. I did not apply to Florida Department of Corrections though, I can't remember exactly why at the moment, I did research it. I feel the same way, about blocking off dates, like what do I do if one of my top sites offers an interview on only one date, and I already have an interview on that date at a bottom site? I have booked flights and hotels for interviews that are in the top half of my list, but not for the ones lower on my list, not yet anyway. Good luck and congrats on all of your notifications being interviews! 🙂

I'm in this weird place of having started interviews (one last week, another this Friday) while still waiting to hear from most sites. I'm fortunate to have had mostly good news (3 interviews so far), but it's hard having so much be still ambiguous. I'm much better when I'm able to be active, so the interviews make me feel much better - at least I'm doing something!
But huge congrats to you! Sounds like you're in a really amazing place!

I was going to ask this earlier today, as I am still (impatiently) waiting to hear from them as well.

I haven't heard back from Brown either & my first choice for a date overlaps with another one I got today...which has caused me a LOT of anxiety :-| I tried calling (twice!) to see if they had any idea when we would be notified...but no one answered...
 
Did you guys just get an email from the match that contained ranking info?

Generic email invite received tonight at about 6:30. Half-day interviews on January 17, 24, and 31, 2014


Also got LASPIC generic waitlist email Dec 1
 
I looked all over and can't find any email like that. Did anyone else not get one?

Yes...I just received an email from APPIC with match instructions. This entire process is exciting, and I'm happy for all of you who get to travel all over the country for interviews! But after my initial rush, I'm now like many of you that haven't heard a peep out of most of my sites. I can't bring myself to speculate about what that means :bang:- just too freaky busy.

Sending everyone positive energy! Just two short festive months before it's all over (Wed, Feb 5th is the APPIC match submission deadline)! :luck:
 
No email for me either! Also the posts from others about APPIC making an error with applications has me freaking out that they didn't send properly, and that I am just being ruled out by sites that think I screwed up the application. Because this wasn't stressful enough already!!!
 
Those APPIC instructions have confused me: do you rank programs that decided not to interview you? It says you rank ones to which you applied.

It may take some time to receive yours as they are personalized. That is what I thought was odd.

I didn't get this email either. I logged on to my National Matching Services account and all of my information is accurate and my match number is there...but no email and no information or changes were readily apparent...FWIW.

I'm waiting on them too. At least none of us have heard anything yet! I'm hoping it'll be soon since they notified people around this time last year.
