All this silence is killing me...haven't heard anything since last Wednesday! I saw that Memphis VA apparently sent out rejections and I didn't get one, so I guess that's something! Has anyone received an invite from them?

I haven't heard anything from Memphis either. Just waiting..for..an email... ding..
EDIT: I just breathed with a whistle (have had a terrible cold for 2 weeks!) and had to double check that it wasn't my email making that noise..... ::losing it::

It's been pretty quiet for me also, try to forget about it and focus on your 1st interview!!! GOOD LUCK! 😀
Also, I asked which track(s) I am interviewing for, and she told me one of them for sure but said there could potentially be others (I applied for 3, and there are 19 total). But -- importantly -- she mentioned that some of the tracks are still getting back to her with some of the names. So don't stress until you receive a rejection email.

Phone call invitation for an interview with the Washington D.C. VAMC recieved today (12/4). Interview dates are Jan. 9th, 10th, and 13th.
Me neither. Maybe they are doing invites by phone or by private email?

It was a general email with no mention of which tracks I will be interviewing for... I think it was sent out to everyone since it mentioned a reminder to those applying for the ASD track that they would have to complete a post-doc at CHOP and I definitely did not apply for that track.
In last year's thread, it looks like CHOP sent out mass invites on three separate dates (11/30, 12/7, 12/10). Who knows if they corresponded to tracks or just whatever batch of the applications they'd gotten through at that point. FWIW, I applied to the child clinical track at CHOP and haven't heard anything yet.

Yes, I have definitely been told not to not count yourself out yet just because you haven't received an invite... As long as you haven't received a rejection, you are still in the running...
I saw that someone received a mass rejection e-mail from them. I have my fingers crossed as I wait impatiently.

I thought I was really going to start hearing from places this week, but it's so quiet. It's snowing and so cold, and my clients are canceling, and I just keep obsessing on this thread.

Nothing new, the usual stuff about having a large number of qualified applicants and only a few spots. I just found it reassuring that they basically said that even if we're not a fit for them, we're probably a fit for another site. The tone was just quite sincere and pleasant.
(possibly because I am mentally comparing them to Geisinger, which I just found cold and awkward.)
