Memphis VA is the only one I'm waiting to hear from! What makes them so special that they can make us wait?! Lol. If you mean the University of Maryland/VA Maryland Healthcare System, I got an invite from the VA (Health Psychology track) the week of Thanksgiving. Didn't apply to the other two!

Haha I was at the Memphis VA for prac for a year and a half... I'm not sure they think their special, it's just the pace of things around here.

I got an invite to HCMC yesterday through what looked to be a mass email. However, my colleague also applied and hasn't heard either way.

Maybe your colleague is in the "maybe" pile? I got my rejection from HCMC last Tuesday (child track), so I would bet there is still some hope for that person 🙂

I'm waiting on Loma Linda, too. I spoke to a current intern there and he said that they haven't sent out notifications yet.

I'm also waiting on Memphis. Also Baltimore and Cleveland for that matter, but since they've sent out invites I'm not feeling too optimistic there, LOL.

First of all, I just wanted to thank all of you for how amazing you all have been! I never expected such support from this listserv! It makes me more excited/relaxed for interviews since I know you guys could possibly be at any interview I go to! It's great to know so many encouraging people are going through this process!

Also, I know a few of you are waiting to hear from Springfield Hospital like I am. According to the APPIC directory they should be notifying us around 12/15. I just went through my entire list and added "notification" dates.

Congrats to all of you who have interviews! I'm still waiting to hear back from 19. So far I have 1 interview but it is a one of my top sites so I can't complain!

I know a few people received visit confirmations last week, but I still haven't. Just wondering if I should give up hope for this site...

If i were you, i'd re-send an email inquiry. I emailed the TD for the first time a couple days ago, and I got a response yesterday. I'm not sure if open house spots are still available (I didn't request one), but he was very kind and gave me the names of several faculty and an intern to speak with over the phone about their site.

Question----do you all think sites that said they would notify by Dec 15th would notify by this Friday or would really wait till Sunday to do it? Or would send out notifications on Monday the 16th? I am just wondering about this....

Some will really wait until Sunday, some will notify Friday or Monday.

I don't have an answer to this, but several of my sites--even if they originally stated deadlines of 12/15--stated in their confirmation e-mails that they would notify on or by 12/13.

The TD from one of my sites- South Shore- stated they would be notifying this weekend due to a site visit Friday.

Got a mass email invite for Morrison Child & Family Services in Portland today at 12:42pm mountain time. I actually had the nerve to be in session and not checking my phone until around 3pm, so I ended up getting my second choice day of the interview. Excited for the site, but that's making more even more OCD about the need to respond to invites ASAP!

Does anyone have insight in or experience with interviewing for a 2-year joint internship / post-doc? The one I'm interviewing at is an academic medical center with more of a research focus (especially during the post-doc year). I can guess certain things (e.g., be prepared for more in-depth questions about my research, future research, and the status of my dissertation), but does anyone have experience with this?

Friends received mass email invite from FCI Ft. Worth this morning. Local applicants interview dates in December, but other dates in January (specific dates not known.). I didn't apply, but know others will want to know.

Just received a generic, non mass invite to FCI Ft. Worth. Figured this site was a no-go based on the above comment. So happy it's not! Interview dates are Jan 6, 8, 13, 15, 22, 27 or 29. Wishing everyone the best!

Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center personalized email rejection received this afternoon, 12/9/13, for the adult/child track.

I'm waiting for Trinitas Regional Medical Center to either reject me or give me a shot. I was informed today by someone who underwent this process last year that because Trinitas has given out both rejections and invites, I'm a for-sure rule-out/rejection. What say the other SDNers out there?

This process is like , but 10 times worse...

I'm in the same boat with Trinita's... I wish that their notification date was sooner than 12/23. Stay hopeful and merry my friend.
