does anyone know how many ppl harvard interviewed this year?
Is harvard receptive to post-int updates?
It's my birthday during decision week as well! Haha I hope they get us something nice! They said on the lower end of 900 or the upper part of 800 I think. I know they specifically stated that they were not interviewing as many candidates as they did last year.
...Here's to waiting until March.
The ironic part is I will be in Boston during decision week...and it's my birthday week.
Has anyone not heard anything back yet? I'm getting the sense that not everyone who is pseudo-rejected got a "no longer sending out interview invites" email.
Are interviews officially done then?
Question to those who interviewed:
Did you send a thank-you email to your interviewer? If so, did you get a response? I know this is neurotic thing to be thinking about, but I wonder if Harvard is a school that has a policy on whether to allow interviewers to correspond with applicants.
Huge relief. I didn't get a response and have been worried about it ever since I interviewed in November.I did send email thank-yous to my interviewers. I did not get a response from either of them. Don't let it worry you if the same happens!
LOL. Yes really. When I have 4 months to worry between interview and decision, I will eventually worry about everything.really guys??
September here, 5 months down less than 1 to go!yea i know the feeling. interviewed in october and the wait is a killer
do you think those who interviewed very early in the cycle(sept/oct) will be at a disadvantage because they are not fresh in the adcom and interviewers' minds?
Anyone know if it's worth sending a post-interview LOI? I have basically no updates..interviewed back in September.
ThanksIf that's the case then my advice would be don't send a letter - also at this point I don't know if it would arrive in time, so if you still want to you should check in advance.
We should hear 3 weeks from today, yeah?
Has anyone heard of applicants getting LOR from current students that have worked with you in a professional context? Does anyone have any insight as to whether this could hurt or help?
I haven't. Sounds potentially sketchy.Did you guys get an email asking you for your SSN?
Did you guys get an email asking you for your SSN?
Whew, got that SSN email thought it was the notification letter.
Didn't get this email...is that bad?
I interviewed and haven't received anything yet.
Did you interview? Only interviewees got it.
Interviews are officially over per SSN email sent to interviewees 2/15/13.
I interviewed and haven't received anything yet.
Yes. I thought everyone had to in order to complete the secondary.Did you already provide it on the secondary?
Yes. I thought everyone had to in order to complete the secondary.
can anyone copy what exactly the email says?
Same here. I didn't get the email either, and I had already provided my SSN.I interviewed and also didn't receive it..but that's because I provided it while playing around the site a few months ago. Same thing happened with Yale. So if you don't get an email but you already submitted your SSN, I wouldn't worry too much. That's my theory anyways
