I think WL movement will start happening later this month/next month because all interviews will be complete. Last year, SDN showed WL movement happening in Feb.! I'm hoping that the WL trends will stay the same, and that us WL-ers hear some news soon 🙂 I've been trying to stay patient lol.any movement form the waitlist yet? I've heard that those who are waitlisted early are brought up again in subsequent reviews but are we expecting any movement prior to the 5/15 deadline?

I hope so! Do you guys think that people who have zero offers will be looked at differently? Maybe given a bit of a priority?

How would they know if you have zero offers unless you tell them? They can only see which schools you've been accepted to if they accept you.
Perhaps you could write a letter of intent...

I thought after a certain point the schools you interviewed at get to see where else you interviewed and if you were accepted or not. Is that not true? If that's not the case, would mentioning that I haven't gotten any offers yet help me or work against me in a letter of intent?

Only schools that have accepted you can see anything about your other acceptances. Nobody can see anything about your interviews or where you've applied.

Mentioning that you have no acceptances will only hurt you, honestly. Instead, tell them how committed you are to them/their mission/whatever.

Thanks! That's what I thought too!

Rejected pre-interview. Good luck everyone else!
Does that mean if we haven't been rejected preinterview YET, that they might still send out a few interview invite these last couple weeks? I'm a little confused because I haven't heard anything in a while after submitting my secondary.

I haven't either.
My understanding is that they are only sending out IIs if someone cancels their interview. Theoretically, it's possible a few people could cancel, but I'm not expecting it.
From what @Easonred57 said in February:
Maybe we'll hear soonI was told they would be selecting on a cancellation basis until mid-March.

This sounds right. I think pre-interview rejections will start going out in masses once their interview season officially ends sometime this month.
Tomorrow is their last day of interviews. If you haven't gotten an invite then it's a rejection.
Keep your heads up. I was accepted off the wait list a week before graduation in May (interviewed on 2/14...cant forget that right?) , ended up becoming student body president in med school, and landed my number 1 residency choice at the end of my four years. If you have a particular interest in Wake, let them know.
I sent a letter of interest after I was placed on the waitlist, but since then I haven't heard anything. Do you suggest sending something to restate your interest? Denied today =\
PreSorry to hear! 🙁 Pre or post interview?

ugh I know I've been rejected but I can't even check my status to make sure 🙁
preinterview rejection: I love that the letter says, "you were in the interview category." That kind of makes it worse. I'm pretty sure the "interview category" means you interview the applicant. I think they confused "interview category" with "rejection category". Easy mistake.
Any acceptances yesterday?
Any wait list movement yet?
Any wait list movement yet?
+1. Is the rejection via email or snail mail?I feel like i'm in the "we lost your app" category. At this point, I know what is coming, but they're really dragging it out

Depends on how long it is has been. I remember emailing them, and calling a couple of times. Wake was legitimately my first choice for several reasons (personal, family, location, quality, etc). I didn't annoy them with an email or call every day but feel like I called or emailed maybe 3-4 times throughout the entire process. They will leave notes on your file when you contact them.
Same here! I posted too soon lolemail rejection pre interview today. rejection was attached in a pdf, lol.
+2. I have no idea what's going on but I know it's way past interview season at this point.I feel like i'm in the "we lost your app" category. At this point, I know what is coming, but they're really dragging it out
