Invitation to Interview at the Univ. of Maryland VA (SMH child track) :soexcited:...email invite (personalized to which track I was being invited for, as I applied to both child tracks) with instructions to call DCT back with date preference: Jan 3 or Jan 10. The DCT was very nice on the phone 👍

Also - fyi, I received a phone call invite from Sarah Reed on 11/14 (dates 12/13 & 1/14) - those are the only two I have heard from so far...

Good luck everyone...I know this process is anxiety-provoking to the extreme.

Nope. I applied the the VA SMI track and the UMB Adult Psychiatry Track. It think they might send separate invites (on different days) for child/school vs. adult track applicants. Or at least that's what I saw on the 2012 application thread.

I haven't heard anything either. I applied to the VA Comprehensive track. I agree; they probably have different sets of reviewers for the different tracks.

Congratulations to everyone who got invites today, and condolences to those who received rejections. Don't stress too much if you haven't gotten a lot of interviews at this point--there are still several weeks left, and a lot of sites don't send out invites until the last minute! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone. 🙂

Generic email rejection (did not seem track specific) today for University of Illinois at Chicago, Psychiatry Department (UIC)
 
Has been updated. I will update at least every night, usually several times.
 
Yup... many thanks. 🙂. It's shocking how many sites I've never even heard of. 🙂. (Though, I didn't look into VA's at all).

It's also discouraging to see some of my sites on there as I sit in a dark room compulsively refreshing gmail. 🙂

I submitted on 11/13 and heard back on 11/20 via email. Good luck to you!

Second, a request. Would you be willing to post a quick reply to the main thread when you update the list, so we can compulsively refresh one page instead of two? If that's too much of a hassle, feel free to disregard the suggestion. Another option might be to let us know when you usually update the main page (once a day at night, a few times throughout the day, etc.) so we can reserve checking it until then. Thanks again! 👍

Nope, I'm waiting to hear from the Dallas VA as well... On their brochure they said they would try to send out notifications by the 1st so fingers crossed we hear from them tomorrow! 🙂

I'm totally in the same boat! I see a couple of sites on there that I haven't heard from yet.

This may sound like a ridiculous question, but should we lose all hope if we didn't hear from them the day that others have?

I'm a little jealous of the VA peeps, only because the VA seems to notify so much quicker than UCCs!!!

Although I guess I can't complain, I already have one interview (a round 1 of 2 rounds) done!!!

Atascadero! Generic email. Dates offered 1/4. 1/11, 1/18. Just got the email, applied 11/05.
 
I received a non-personalized email from Primary Children's Medical Center for an interview around 635pm CST. :laugh:
 
I FINALLY got my notification from Nationwide Children's Hospital about 20 minutes ago-- the IDD track finally sent notifications. 🙂 Got an interview with instructions to call back and schedule tomorrow morning! I am so excited 🙂
 
I also got an email notification from UNC Medical Center today. I know they are already on the list, but I applied to their developmental disabilities/autism/TEACCH program and heard back today. Personalized email, and again, strangely, they "assigned" my interview date for January 9th. I am surprised how many sites are doing this. No choice, just an assigned day.
 
Thanks to all who are posting notifications even if already on the list. It definitely helps those who have not been notified of an interview to better assess whether to write a site off (and schedule others on those dates). I also think it would be helpful for all (current and later years' applicants) to know if there are multiple notification dates for sites/tracks or if a single mass e-mail is all a site sends out. Just a thought.

I agree-thanks nyprincess for not only keeping up the list, but also for listing the dates invites come out for which tracks, and the kinds of invites. when i see that a site has sent out invites over the past few weeks, that's really helpful info!
 
I got my first rejection from State Operated Forensic Services. It came in the mail today. At least I already have two interviews.

Has anyone else NOT yet heard from Bay Pines VA? I submitted my application on 10/26. I haven't received an invite, NOR a rejection. Tomorrow is their posted deadline for notifications.

I haven't heard from them, and I just assumed they hadn't sent out their rejections yet (none are listed in the main list of invitations/rejections on this thread). Do you know of anyone to whom they sent a formal rejection? They may just be waiting until the notification deadline, unfortunately. I had pretty much assumed they were out for me.

Also wondering if anyone has received a rejection from UCSD/VA (VA side) - or heard from them at all since their first day of calling interview recipients (Tuesday, I think).

Bay Pines Rejection tonight 11/28 via email with attached letter. Stated that they had 150 applications. Pleasant tone, albeit a rejection. 🙂 Hope this helps.

Thanks goosefraabaa. Sorry to hear that. Just to clarify, you got it tonight or yesterday (11/28?). And was the email generic or personalized?

This makes me worry that my application got lost or something... Seems like they would send rejections all at once if they already sent invitations and their deadline is tomorrow.

Anyone else (besides member60412, the original poster) in this position? For the record, I submitted 10/27.

I haven't heard anything from them either.

Has anyone else heard either way from University of TX Health Sciences Center? I know someone posted they got an interview about a week ago but was wondering if other people have heard?
 
Children's National Medical Center has been added to the interview invite list but in their brochure it says interviews will not be extended until after December 15....

anyone else apply there and confused by this?

This concerns me too. I applied there and have not heard news either way. I submitted on 11/5, which was the deadline.
