Mass rejection Kaiser- San Diego. With this statement: "We will, though, keep your application on file. Should we be unable to select an adequate number of potential interns for the national 'Match', or have an unfilled position, we may contact you to see if you are still interested in being considered."

Pshh. . you guys are so off my list anyways!
 
I got the most cryptic email from McGuire VA. The gist was that Monday evening is when notifications will happen and via phone call.

You forgot this part, "You have our best wishes for a satisfying placement."

Satisfying???
 
Canadian applicants, has anyone heard from:
-Alberta Health Services (Calgary)
-Vancouver Coastal Health?

I thought all Canadian sites are notifying today, but on my excel spreadsheet of site info, I have 12/13/2014 written as the tentative notification date for Vancouver Coastal health... So maybe I will be waiting!

I got the same one. My feeling was that it was considerate, especially because they requested additional correspondence from us for the new position (last week, I believe). I must say, however: the first sentence was a taaad alarming.

In case others are curious...

"I apologize for having to string you along. I have run into a snag with finalizing the groups of applicants we wish to interview for our 3 tracks (General, PCMH/Health and the new MH Across the Lifespan) and I will not be able to get the invites out until Monday evening.

I apologize for the stress this causes. Please be aware we have a longstanding policy of offering telephone interviews with staff and current interns to those who cannot come on the date we offer.

Yours, . . . "

*Edited: I believe the phone reference was related to interviews, rather than invitations.

Interview invite at University of Maine Counseling Center (12/5) by email (personalized with name). They offer Skype or telephone interviews for 1/5, 1/6, 1/8, and 1/9.

aww thank you!!! it did go well. we had to hand-write an essay and i found out that my hand muscles are out of shape, ha! "Gosh, this is going to be a good essay!" *hand cramp* "Oh, ****!" it was fine though because i was able to finish it...grad school has taught me to work through the pain lol +pity+

Yeah in hindsight, I actually appreciated the consideration of the email, by informing of us as to when they will notify, but when i first read "apologize to string you along" I was like huh? Am I being dumped?
 
Has anyone heard from Tennessee Internship Consortium/St. Jude's (UTPPIC)? Last year they notified on 11/21, but haven't seen anything thus far on here.

we were given a case vignette with a very vague explanation about writing a case conceptualization, differential diagnosis with our thought process behind this, assessment methods, and treatment plan....and we had 20 minutes and a single sheet of paper :wtf:

Nope. One of my clinic's post docs was there last year and said that the interns are responsible for setting up the interview day --- so what occurred last year may very well not be an indication of what happens this year. FWIW.

In the invite letter, they stated that if you were unable to make the scheduled date to let them know promptly and they may be able to schedule you on another date, and if not, then you could do a phone interview.

I still haven't heard a peep. I am assuming I am rejected though since it looks like they send out invites.

I am waiting on Charleston Consortium - Child Psych and Trauma Focus tracks. I hadn't seen those tracks pop up either way on here.

Of the sites you listed, I have also applied to and am waiting to hear from Allegheny General Hospital.
