Have most of the invites been through email/ERAS so far? I've had friends saying they've gotten phone calls for other specialties. Can we list (phone call/email) also? Any rules about posting rejections?
Anyone have any idea what the interview/app ratio is for an average rad applicant (step 1 24oish step 2 250ish)? Out of the listed programs I haven't gotten interviews at 4/5 of the ones I applied to. Really starting to get a bit worried since those were programs I thought I had a pretty good shot at.
Is it normal for these programs to send out more invites after the dean letter is released? I'm wondering if I should start looking for more programs to apply to. I have about 45 programs with 15 (now 19 apparently) being reach/shoot for the stars programs.
Congrats to everyone with interviews so far!
I take that back. 1/5. FmlMy stats are with you and I only have 1 interview so far. Granted I've only applied to 2 of these programs that are listed thus far.

I had 267, AOA and only received about 15-18 interview offers for 39 programs
Glad to know I'm not alone! Looks like there's still hope though. NM just sent out a second round of interviews. Unfortunately I wasn't one of the lucky ones..
Thanks for the input bjb305. That percentage is a bit disconcerting given your stats. I guess I should be expecting a 20% or less success rate then.
no that wasn't the point of my post.. it was more of a don't be discouraged about interviews.. you only need about 10 to guarantee a match (and prob less than this actually).. getting interviews is a lot of statistics.. there are at least 50-100 other applicants that look identical to you based on grades etc.. if you applied to programs and they just sent out a wave of interviews that didn't include you.. shoot them an email or call them and tell them you would accept an interview if it were offered cause you are genuinely interested in the program.. might actually help get a few more
So, if programs already sent invites, will they eventually send more? Or, if I didn't get an invite this time around, is that it for my chances?
