Meh, I'm sure it's ok but I'd rather get the closest place to where I'm interviewing within a reasonable price. The killer is the plane tickets. Priceline and/or expedia along with google mapping distance in between hotel and where the interview is have served me well finding decent deals. Why is the west coast so slow at sending invites?
By the way, anyone used airbnb before? Some classmates talk about it, wonder how sketchy it is to stay at someone's house vs hotel. (searched, don't think there's a rule against posting referral links... you and I both get $25 if you sign up)
Yes, later in the dayDid Wisconsin actually send out invites on the 2nd? Received a message that they hadn't (in the AM). They listed the interview dates though.

Today is October 1st, which means that our Dean's Letters have been released, and hopefully, interview invites will be sent in the near future.
I noticed that on the anesthesia board they are using a single GoogleDoc to track interview invites and rejections. So, in order to keep things orderly--and since I am a bored MS4--I made a doc. The first sheet lists invites and the second sheet lists rejections. If you are the first person to get an invite or rejection, you can anonymously add it to the document. Also, if you are interested, the third page allows posters to anonymously post their stats, this way future applicants have more information to gauge the strength of their

Edit: Fixed! Anyone can edit it now
Don't forget to check your ERAS message center! I just checked today and found 4 invites from over the last 2 weeks, never got emailed about! Grrrr....
Try checking your personal email's spam folder and/or adding all the eras email addresses to your contacts list so that their messages never go into spam? I try to check my eras message center from my phone about once an hour even while I'm on rotations, but that's still not as good as having my email fetch messages to my phone every ten minutes. My roommate was a few hours late replying to an interview invite and all the slots were already full...so he ended up on the waitlist AT OUR OWN SCHOOL'S PROGRAM 😱
After reading this, I just checked my email and found an invite in my junk folder. It was sent 6 days ago.
