Like all MMI's, their goal is to assess your ability to communicate and articulate thought. Keep in mind there is no 'right answer.' Remember to be nice, listen, smile, be engaging and be present.

There is a place to leave a bag, so you should be ok, best of luck!

Maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but I don't recall the tour going outside, all the buildings were connected.
 
Any II recently? I am trying to figure out what secondary dates they are looking through. They told me mine was "under consideration for an II" last week and I don't know how long to wait before a phone call.

No, you're right. The campus tour was entirely indoors (for my group, at least), as the hospital is connected to the main academic building.

Anyone else having trouble going to the interview invite portal link? It was working till last week and now I get an error message that says this webpage is not available 🙁

I have been having the same issue on my pc, but I can access the site from my phone. Try using a different browser, that might work.

Also my II page disappeared today. Interviewed 10/15.

Did anyone who faxed in their campus choice get a follow up confirmation?

I interviewed the week after you. Interview info was on my portal this morning but just checked and it's gone. However, no e-mail from them. Have no idea what it means. Acceptance? Rejection? Waitlist? Who knows what mischief lurks in the minds of the Adcoms...only the Shadow knows....
This entire process is like one big black box.

I faxed and emailed mine in, no follow up or confirmation of receipt to either. I had to actually call and email them to get a confirmation. I think the only way they'll contact you about it is if it's missing. Save your fax confirmation page and don't worry about it.

In exactly the same situation here. Interview info gone, no contact since. Very anxious.
 
I stayed at the Sheraton, which, while not the cheapest, is literally a 5 minute walk from the school. I was lucky enough that my AMEX card rewards could be used for a free night there, so it definitely was a deal for me. I know people who stayed at the places the school recommended, and said their short commute and cab ride wasn't bad.

damn, wish I saw this earlier lol. I'm paying 96 for the crowne plaza hotel. oh well, it's a bit closer and only $17 difference I guess

I stayed at the crowne plaza and it was really nice. Funny elevators though, you designate your floor before getting in

Haha, good point - will try to keep my premed neuroticism more in check during the holiday season 🙂
 
Just curious - has the average wait time for everyone between interview and decision been about six weeks at this school? Thanks!
 
Woah, on a Sunday?? Or have you just not checked for a while?

Thank you! I interviewed 10/22, so I don't think it's time for me yet, but that's very exciting! Congrats to everyone accepted today!
 
Congrats to everyone getting acceptances! The website isn't working for me..I hope that doesn't foreshadow bad news

I had the same problem, but then used Firefox (was using Chrome before) and it worked fine
 
New member here - I interviewed 11/1 and I remember the admissions officer saying that we should expect to hear back around 4-5 weeks later. I was wondering if people had been hearing back in that time frame or if it had been taking longer?

Took approximately 7 weeks to get the news (via portal update), give or take a few days. While the wait was hard, it was most definitely worth it! 🙂
