It's gotta be the mix of your MCAT score and choice of schools you applied to. VCOM and ACOM are the only two where you're not a big underdog (stats-wise), but they may have a regional bias. Why didn't you apply to ATSU-SOMA or PNWU?

DO schools vary quite widely in terms of admission standards and preferences. This is why it is important to apply broadly, particularly if you are on the lower end of competitive.

For some reason, and this seems very common with DO applicants-- lots of borderline candidates, like kickrocks, that have great chances if applying widely enough-- shoot themselves in the foot via poor school selections.

No, they didn't tell me anything, but it's obviously the GPA. I got denied the appeal from AACOMAS regarding cell bio retake, so that knocks my GPA down 0.03c/0.07s. PB is 17 cr. I spent 3x the $ to take the upper level retakes at a University. Had I known they were gonna deny the retake for 1, I could have taken so many more CC classes.

it is not uncommon for schools to reject, even following an interview, for borderline stats. Although this isn't to say that your interviewing couldn't also be at fault.

your lack of interviews is utterly baffling. I suggest contacting schools to see what is going on.

My stats are similar to yours and I haven't received an interview invite yet. 3.08cGPA/2.89sGPA/23 (6 PS, 11 BS, 6 V) & 30 (12 PS, 10 BS, 8 V). I suspect, as does many others, that my sGPA is what is killing me. I've applied to Nova, LECOM-Bradenton, CCOM, LECOM-Erie, PCOM (Philly and Georgia), and Rowan. applying to only 7 schools with a 2.89 science GPA was not a sound strategy.

Haven't looked thru this, but I was a major underdawg last year. Message me if you are waitlisted and/or waiting to get an invite and I can give you some solid advice on what to do next. If you are rejected by too many schools I would recommend doing a masters/take mcat again.

It is more of a general statement. You are good on the MCAT front. Just get that sGPA up as high as you can and make sure you apply broadly.

I'm in a similar situation. I have a misdemeanor disturbing the peace charge on the record which i disclosed on all secondaries I hope this doesn't come back to bite me. I also retook the mcat on DEC 6th and my new scores were just released on Jan 6th. I'm hoping this is the reason I have yet to receive a single ii. sGPA 3.29 cGPA 3.35 MCAT 25 URM

That is most likely the reason. I have very similar stats to yours and have 2 ii currently. However, being an underdog in both GPA and MCAT departments does hurt as well.

You will do well next cycle apply early and make a good list of 7 to 8 schools
