Congrats @neurotroph ! And thanks again for keeping up such a helpful mdapps profile
Thanks! Glad people are finding it helpful. I pretty much gave up on writing impressions but I'll try to find the strength to write up the remaining ones lol.
Thank you @starfun21 ! I am very very emotional: not only is this my first and only MSTP acceptance, but I'm also a non-citizen (and not even Canadian), so this entire process has been very challenging indeed. But what a relief!OMG!!!!!!!!! Congratulations, fiesta, Batracho, and Argle Bargle!!!!!!!!!!!! @fiesta, I am sooooo happy that you are at the point where you can turn down a Columbia acceptance 😀 You are incredible. #lifegoals hahahaha. Way to go! And @Batracho, SO HAPPY that you have received your first acceptance and that you KNOW you will be a physician scientist. And such an incredible institution, too!! What awesome news!! @Argle Bargle, glad to see you continuing to absolutely crush it. Great job, friend!
I know I'm a little bit emotional about this process as a whole, but I think it's really striking me today about just how active this forum is. Thankfully there are still a few interview invites going out, but really, the activity seems to be in this forum with people hearing back. All of the hard work is paying off, and we're really progressing on to the next step of this crazy process. It's just amazing to see so many people applying, receiving interviews, and then ultimately winding up with the news of the dream come true. I'm thrilled for everyone and hoping to continue to see this thread climb up higher and higher in the way of posts and cheers!
Preach it! And huge congrats!!! I am VERY happy to see international students staring down those barriers!!! Fellow int'ls, if you ever feel subpar, just remember that these comrades (@Jelly Bones @am993 @Batracho @justwantanmdphd , and a host of others) have done it and so can you! Huge shout out to the schools that actually take internationals!Thank you @starfun21 ! I am very very emotional: not only is this my first and only MSTP acceptance, but I'm also a non-citizen (and not even Canadian), so this entire process has been very challenging indeed. But what a relief!
OMG!!!!!!! WHAT A DAY!!!! Congratulations, @Penguin33!!!! SO SO SO happy to hear this!!! You are incredible and I wish you all of the very best in the future. 😀 Great job!!!
I thought MSTP won't give to non-citizen?Thank you @starfun21 ! I am very very emotional: not only is this my first and only MSTP acceptance, but I'm also a non-citizen (and not even Canadian), so this entire process has been very challenging indeed. But what a relief!
I thought MSTP won't give to non-citizen?
Well, technically that is true, however, WUMS does offer full support for non-citizens, @Fencer 's comment is entirely correct.I thought MSTP won't give to non-citizen?
Which programs?Fingers crossed that next week is a big one -- I know of a few programs that are planning on releasing some acceptances, so I'm really hoping they go to lots of our SDN friends! Keep hanging in there, everyone... we're getting closer and closer!!
Which programs?
We love you @Penguin33! Hope everything is okay medically. Sending warm regards 😀
