Thanks for the help guys!
Check ERAS every single day...at least twice if you can. There are messages that will sit in your inbox but not trigger an email (I have no idea why). If you don't check, you'll never see them.I've either had them emailed to the eras email or to eras messaging center which I get a notification from in my eras email
First of all, congratulations to all of you receiving interviews. How exciting! Do you guys mind me asking if anyone has received rejections? I'm curious if the majority of the same programs waiting until 10/16 to send invites are also holding off on sending rejections as well. I can start... I haven't personally received any rejections yet, BUT! I most certainly expect them soon since I am not nearly as competitive an applicant as most of you here (well below the average EM applicant).
If you want feel free to create a rejection thread, I'm sure it could serve some beneficial purpose in some capacity...there have been similar threads in years past.First of all, congratulations to all of you receiving interviews. Hi Guys, I'm wondering if any of you that got an invite to Vidant/ECU can help me out:
Did anyone hear from the Program Coordinator today? I got the invite from them yesterday, and replied with my interview date preferences, but I was in the middle of the woods when I sent the email from my phone and I'm not sure if it went through. I replied at 3:40 PM EST yesterday (10/5) and haven't heard back since. I don't want to be the overbearing med student who sends a follow-up email too soon, but I also don't want to miss out on the dates that work for me just because email didn't go through. Has anyone heard from their PC since that time (especially those who responded after me)? If you could help me out, you would LITERALLY be my favorite person on the planet. Thanks!

Persistence is key. If you haven't heard back in an hour, you should send a follow up email. If you still haven't heard another hour after the second email, give them a call. Don't leave a message as they're unlikely to return it within an hour. Just keep calling until they pick up.

But really, I heard back from ECU within a few hours after sending my dates in the morning.
The joke was lost on me sadly, but y'all can picture someone you know in med school who would actually advocate this and be completely serious about it.
They honestly go in waves, bare in mind my best friend who is a current EM intern and who was also an IMG US citizen had 2 interviews going into Christmas. In the following 8 days had 7 interview invites because of all of the January cancelations and the burnout that people were feeling from maxing out on interviews. So don't give up hope if you didn't get the first wave of invites.Hey guys - any idea how often programs send out interviews? I.e - if i was not offered an interview on the 1st day they sent out interviews, what's the chances of me getting an interview later? When should i start freaking out about not having an interview?

Most of the invites I've gotten came days after the first person posted on here.
I noticed University of Michigan got added to the list of programs sending out invites on the 16th...did they send out a notification? Just worried that emails might not be going through...
Checked everything, and haven't had problems with other ERAS emails-did they send that out today?
