Yup. I haven't heard from ANY either and I'm contemplating applying to two more because I'm in complete panic mode

Count me in as someone who has not heard from sites yet, either. I feel anxious, but I am reminding myself that it is still VERY early in this process. I have prevented myself from applying to additional sites by reminding myself of the costs! Good luck to all of us and may be all be blessed with patience.

If you're willing, please write out the site names instead of abbreviating them. I get lots of submissions everyday and ain't nobody got time to google the full site names. Adding abbreviated site names to the list usually means things are out of alphabetical order and that is STRAIGHT CHAOS.

Hah!, now I'm envious of you for that modicum of control.

Glad other people are in the same boat as me. It's reassuring, seriously. Just hate that sites extend invitations to some people but don't reject or finish or...
 
Im not sure if its good or bad I haven't seen anyone receive invites from any of my sites...Is it better not knowing...or pulling off the bandaid...:help:
 
I just noticed the ad at the bottom of the screen for scutwork.com. We should really get that going for psychology. Too late to use it this year, but it could come in handy when we do fellowship apps!

I'm in the same boat. I received one rejection and nothing more. I also saw two sites I applied have sent out interviews, and I am planning on Phase II and even another year of applying internship. I also have been wondering if I should stop checking this thread (and here I am again...), as it's definitely not helping my cortisol level. As of now, the uncertainty of internship + the uncertainty of Trump presidency is really stretching my fear and anxiety tolerance skills.

Was that the VA side? I applied for UCSD Med Center NP Assessment/UCSD Med Center Senior Bhv Health, I want to hope that invitations from Med Center side might still come forward.

Yeah... I'm still a tiny bit hopeful about the UCSD/San Diego VA stuff... Looking at last year's thread, it sounds like people got a mass email and then others? maybe got a personal email a few days later. (11/20 and 11/22, then.) And then the mass rejection came in December, so...

what the hell...

I got an invite from Cincinnati VAMC this morning and emailed within a half an hour to request a date. I just got a notification that the two dates I requested have been filled. Literally, 21 minutes. 🙁
 
Do some sites send out rejections before invites? I haven't heard from George Fox but did not get a mass email rejection

To be fair, it's possible that they had sent out invites before yours and just left the date in.

I haven't heard one way or another from DC VA... is it safe to say that I've been rejected or have I been infected by the neurotic bug? :blackeye:

I did, at one of the VAs. It's a little different, in that this VA has two locations (main hospital and outpatient clinic), so I applied to two "tracks" that correspond to the two different sites within that one VA. Have not heard from either yet, and they have not yet been posted on here either.
