Anybody heard from Lurie Chicago?
Wondering if everyone got a call first (before the email) for the Mississippi State Hospital? I only got an email. I am thinking this means I am lower on their list...Unfortunately, this meant I had little say over my interview date!

I did get a call - but the TD didn't mention any dates during our conversation, so I was unaware of the dates until the email was sent later in the evening - if that helps at all?!

I was also hoping for the Minneapolis VA. However, the e-mail I received earlier this month said we would hear sometime this week whether or not we would get an invite sometime this week and the invite received was a personal e-mail. Hoping that invites may be sent in waves over the next couple of days but that just might be my optimistic side coming out.
Haha, yes that does help! Glad I wasn't totally in the dark. I didn't have good cell service at the time anyway...so maybe they did try to call. idk

I'm in the same boat. I am a child person and have only heard from a handful of sites, and none of the only child sites!
I have simply asked, and almost all the sites have written back immediately saying this is not a problem! So I wouldn't worry too much!
It seems like some sites send out rejections long after they've made their decisions. Why don't they let us know when they know??

Is there any kind soul out there that has an interview at Children's National on January 4th that would be willing to swap for January 11th? Think of all the karmic points you would rack up!

Sometimes people decline invitations to interview, so a site may not want to send out rejection notifications until they're sure all of their interview spots have been filled. Other places handle this by having a wait list, but knowing you're on the bubble isn't really any less stressful than not knowing anything in my experience.

I feel ya. I had four rejections within four days before I got one interview. I'm now at six rejections and two interviews. It is rough. Sending positive thoughts!
Me too. I was wondering if this meant I was only in the "qualified" category instead of "best qualified" or if it just meant things were good to move forward. I'm an overthinker.
Me too--- but then I went back to the USA Jobs app and it said best qualified there. So the automated email was just eligible or ineligible. I had the same thought!

I got a rejection from WPIC yesterday via mass email.
I am hoping they are doing this in waves... mine still says application received. I did get an email from Tallahassee confirming an interview date though, so I'm assuming I'm good.

I agree 🙁 I have seen a few of my high up choices on here that have sent invites but that I have not received word from. This process is so agonizing. You're not alone on the Lurie bummer train right now.

Im assuming I wont get an interview since no one from my school has been there, but haven't heard either way.
