Received an email 12/1 entitled: Update - Neuropsychology Track at Long Island Jewish Medical Center - The Zucker Hillside Hospital (Northwell Health)
1) Interview invites will be prior to 12/15 and
2) The new interviews dates are Wednesday 1/11/17, Tuesday 1/17/17, and Thursday 1/19/17.

I applied there but to a different track. I haven't received an email. I wonder if they are emailing and assigning tracks per dates.

I hope they have my correct address!

I think it was a mass email. My email said "child track - pediatric concentration." Another person in my lab got the same email.

Thanks for the reply! I applied for the infant mental health concentration and haven't heard anything yet. Trying not to panic!

Has anyone run into this yet? I literally only have three unavailable dates in January, and of course the two available dates left of this site are for two of those. Has anyone requested to move an interview they already made? The three potential sites I am trying to figure out are all at the top of my list of interest and I don't want anyone to think I am any less interested because I am requesting to move my interview. Have others done this? I know it will depend a lot on the site, but I am just wondering what people's general experience has been doing this!!

i did move an interview that i had already made… you can never really know how it is going to impact you (are they going to rank me lower because of this? there's no way to know) but the person i emailed was really nice and responded quickly to my request. i would just advise being appropriately deferential. i asked one of my clinical supervisors for advice before emailing, and they also advised checking who you will be corresponding with. better to request a change of date from a program manager or someone whose main job is scheduling/logistics versus the training director who is planning interview days on top of everything else that title brings with it. i was lucky in that i did not have to involve the training director for the particular program i needed to move.

you could also try explaining your predicament to the new interview offer site (no need to say outright that you have other interviews, but that you are unavailable on those days) and see if they would be willing to do a phone interview. could save some money that way too!

Would you please share the dates? It's so frustrating that they all have the same dates and are so inflexible.

Some of my sites have notification dates AFTER the 15th. Hopefully they'll still notify before. One of my sites says 1/15 on APPIC, but I'm guessing they mean 12/15 since they have some December interviews. Other than that one, I still have 2 sites after the 15th.

Yeah, I am currently anxiously waiting to hear back from another site about changing the date. Hoping this does not impact me/my application negatively. The dates that were offered were 1/9 and 1/13.

This has happened to me as well. It seems as though a considerable amount of sites are interviewing on 1/6, 1/9, and 1/13.
