Maybe this will provide a little coping through humor for those of us trying to escape the refresh loop. It's not quite done, but maybe you lovely folks can help me finish it (Still need 12, 11, and 10!). Keep in mind, the numbers may or may not reflect my actual experiences but rather were chosen because they fit the rhythm of the song. Without further ado, here's my holiday gift to you all 🙂 Best wishes for the new year!

On the twelfth day of Christmas, APPIC gave to me...

Nine bills a paying,

Eight flights a booking,

Seven days a stressing,

Six sites a ghosting,

Five interview invitations!

Four crushing rejections,

Three scheduling conflicts,

Two false alarms,

And a match at the end of this ride (knock on wood!)

Is nobody taking data right now on the hysteria that is occurring in this forum.... I have amazed myself these last couple of weeks getting really sad about being rejected from places I would have been miserable at for a year anyway ...that's what grad school does to you I guess

Did anyone apply to WVU Health Sciences Center/Dept. of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry - Charleston campus? They don't extend actual invitations, rather ask that you reach out to schedule an optional site visit on certain dates. I've reached out to the TD, but haven't heard back. Just wondering if anyone has contacted/heard from the TD or someone from that site?
