Truth. While paying for all this, also.Is it just me or is it a entirely different kind of suffering when you are preparing for interviews, waiting to hear on other interviews, while continuing to be a full time student with clinical practica and trying to get work done on your dissertation and other projects

I just ran out of a meeting in the middle of work to answer a call I thought was an interview and it turned out to be someone from the tanning salon confirming my airbrush appointment ...at least I'll be fabulous and tan for the holidays while I get asked a thousand times from family if I've graduated yet

Question: when a site contacts you by phone and says they'll send instructions/a schedule/hotel recommendations by email, how long do you give them before you contact them to obtain that information? I don't want to be rude, but I also don't want to wait until the last minute to schedule my travel stuff.
You have my sympathies, this happened to me a few weeks back and it was my first rejection--I know wasted a lot of time over-thinking it, too.
Instead of carefully worded rejection letters, I think sites should just mass email this image out:
