Hey all! Someone may have already asked this, but if a site calls you to invite you for an interview...do you have to answer right then and there what day and time you are selecting? I am just trying to plan ahead in case I get into that situation!

I got a phone call invite and didn't happen to have my calendar on me at that moment - I called back within an hour and it was fine. It's probably ok to call back as long as it's relatively quickly, but you do run the risk of not getting your preferred date!

They didn't specify, but I am pretty sure based off of past years they do it on different days. Hopefully you're hear soon!

Congrats on the MEDVAMC invites! I didn't see that one pop up in my inbox. I'm thinking I may have a day or two where the rejections just kind of hit and challenge my distress tolerance [again].

Anyone hear back on the neuro based positions at UCSD/San Diego VA? I know some invites went out but I think they were for different positions/areas of focus....

Has anyone gotten an interview offer for this site/track? I'm still waiting to hear back and it looks like people have gotten rejected yesterday and today but I haven't heard anything either way yet. Just wondering if invites have gone out yet.
 
Anyone else hear from UCSF CAS program? Wondering how quickly they’re notifying.
 
Has anyone received a rejection for Asheville VA yet? I know they did phone calls a week or two ago for invites, but I haven’t heard either way so I figured I’d check.

I think this post (along with their post for UW-Madison's UCC) was a troll. Same thing is going on with that posting, and it's way before their deadline and their historical notification dates.

Also, to nerd out here...the name is "ty pwonair" aka type I error...

Congratulations! ME TOO!! I excitedly shrieked and got some dirty looks, but I don't care! You should def go to the gym more often...and maybe I should too. Where else did you get one?
