I'm positive. I got the same USA Jobs feedback for each site I applied to and one TD emailed me saying I was best qualified and they wanted to interview me. I still haven't heard from Fort Worth and if I recall you're waiting on them so don't worry you're all good

My head is spinning in circles as I look at my printed out calendar and US map as i try to coordinate flights and interview dates OH MAN OH MAN January is gonna be cray. I've done multi city flights before but nothing like this.
 
Has anyone heard from Franciscan Children's? APPIC website indicated that we should hear something by 12/1.

Guys, I'm really appreciating the #forumfam today. I'm also having one of those days where I'm feeling like a terrible applicant who tried to fly too close to the sun. I'm second guessing everything and trying to figure out why I have not received more invites, or invites from my top sites. I've even been avoiding the board lately to not see more invites trickling in. But reading every one's supportive messages to one another today really made me feel so much better. 🙂

It's not over 'till it's over guys, and even if you only get 1 interview invite, that's all you need!
 
helloooooo! I'm somewhat new to the forum (I've been lurking in the shadows but not brave enough to comment 😛). Has anyone heard from Ann Arbor for the Women Veteran's Mental Health Track? I'm not even sure which answer I prefer.

What do you guys think it means if interviews went out (based on this forum) several weeks ago, but you haven't heard from the site at all? Should it be assumed that an interview is pretty much not happening? Thanks everyone for your time 🙂 I'm rooting for everyone to have a great outcome at the end of this.

I finally just gave up for tonight and booked a hotel for one of the cities because that was all I could do for tonight. Further complicating things is the fact that I don't have interview times/details for all of my sites. I might email them tomorrow and get some clarification.

Aww, so sorry to hear you've been swimming the self-doubt pool. I'd reckon everyone on here has taken a dip there and/or is setting up residence in the deep end...this truly is a brutal and intense process! I'm glad to hear that these boards have been some support to you. I know they've been a widely positive outlet for me! Here's to a better tomorrow 🙂

Welcome! 🙂 I can't speak to your first question, but as for your latter question, I'm in the same boat with a handful of sites where I've seen invites go out, but haven't gotten an official rejection. For me (and my sanity), I go ahead and put those sites in my "projected rejections" category - particularly if it's been a while since invites have gone out. It's just easier for me that way if I go ahead and write it off as a rejection. It's certainly a dialectic of wanting to keep hope alive AND wanting to minimize disappointment. Good luck!!

Dang- I just received my pant suit from Macy’s and it’s a taaaad too small. Now I have to drive to another state to return it. Plus I tried out my new heels (rehearsal for long day) and they are a pain. Sucks. On the upside - I got an interview today which makes 5!!!!

biggest suggestion is to pencil it all out and don't book anything til you book everything. aka don't get locked in on one flight until you got an outline of doing all of them!

omg girl, i'm in the same boat. In retrospect i should've sized up knowing my coping skill during times of stress is EATING ALL THE SWEETS.
On top of the sizing, the blue suit blazer i ordered doesn't match the blue trousers (both from Ann Taylor)!! what the actual eff ya'll... :bang::bang::bang:

Welcome!! I applied to this track and two others at the Ann Arbor VA and received an interview invitation from them on 11/22, though the email didn’t specify if I was/wasn’t being considered for any particular track(s). Good luck!!

Anyone else done hearing back from sites and feeling this odd sense of emptiness from not having something to obsess about on the regular? I just don’t know what to do with myself and can’t imagine a world in which I don’t spend 90% of my waking hours hitting the refresh button on my computer…

You're done?!?! Goodness, I still have 9 sites to go and know people who have only heard from 1 site! Such an insane discrepancy!

Yeah. I suppose I got lucky and all of my sites (AMCs/VAs) are ones that tend to promptly notify applicants one way or the other. I think UCCs have historically notified applicants much later in the process. Regardless, I'm still checking this forum and crossing my fingers for all of you still waiting to hear back!

I hear you! I only have a few more sites to hear back from and don't know what to do now that they're not trickling in all the time. Maybe my dissertation???
