There's no portal for this school, they used the AAMC secondary. If you get an II I'd imagine they'll send you a link to an interview portal.

Ik this is a joke but this might be important for some people to know: we are no longer affiliated with/part of Yeshiva University (long story short we were too expensive for them so they sold us to the affiliated hospital system Montefiore a few years back so our degrees now come from Montefiore)

Honestly, I have no idea how they go through the applications. I submitted my secondary in the first couple of days of September and have not received the complete email either. Just the "in the process of being complete" email.

Same here. This lack of communication leaves a bad taste in my mouth about this school. The process is already stressful as it is, the least they could do is let us know if they have received our complete applications.

Traditional open file. For what it's worth, my friend interviewed here last cycle and he said they love to grill you on past poor grades. If that applies to anyone (I know it does to me), I would go in with a well crafted response to why your grades dipped.

Last week I sent them an update/LOI/ITA (seeing what sticks lol) email and I got a reply within 4 hours basically saying "Thanks, we'll consider you" and I'm still not complete.

Yeah, that was my experience when I interviewed and the experience of everyone else in my class I've asked. My interviewer and I mostly just reminisced over our shared alma mater. Einstein interviews are supposed to be very chill.

Sorry about your R, but congrats on still being under consideration for MD! I don't think you're late, tbh. MANY people who submitted for MD early on still haven't been verified as "complete."

does anyone know einstein's average mcat? median is 516, but I'm wondering what the mean is. thank you!

Not sure, but I think median is probably a better metric because there might be some outstanding candidates that have low MCATs that artificially deflate the average. Similarly there could be super high mcats that do the reverse.
