Hi! Just wanted to start a thread for NAU DPT applications this round. It sounded from their email we should start to hear about interviews within the next week or so and I am very nervous/excited/hopeful! Wondering if we will hear from them sometime this week, or if it will be next week. Any thoughts? Best of luck to everyone applying for DPT programs this cycle!!!
 
From the email they said first week of November so it sounds like next week! I am super nervous because this is my number one choice! I read on another thread that they give 300 interviews and they give preference to in state students. So if 200 in state students meet the pre-reqs and they give in interview to them then 100 out of state students will get an interview. I am not sure if this is true I just saw someone else post that.
 
On their website it looks like interviews are selected based on GPA and GRE scores, and I believe they do give preference to in-state students. I’m an out of state student as well, so fingers crossed and hoping for the best!

Got an interview as well! Which campus are you guys hoping to interview at?
 
I really don’t mind! I think I’d rather interview in the downtown campus since I’ve been to the other campus already. Do you know when they will let us know which campus we will interview at?
 
It sounded like they will tell you after you respond and accept your invitation invite!!

Yeah I was hoping it would be quick but I haven’t heard back. I’m sure they will let us know on Monday.
 
I got an interview invitation as well! I am hoping to get the Phoenix campus one because its close and I am familiar with it.
 
I got an interview invitation as well! I am so very excited!!! I am hoping for the phoenix campus because it is so close and convent to the airport, but overall am just super excited to interview!
 
Has anyone heard back from them regarding specifics of the interviews yet?

I have not heard anything yet! I replied with my intent to participate in the interviews but not sure if that is all we need to do.
 
How long are they giving you guys to confirm the interview? I am just wondering because I am on the interview waitlist and am wondering when I might find out that a spot has or had not opened up.

I did the same because that is what the email said. I am hoping we hear back from them before the 10th
 
I haven't heard back about specifics yet either!!
 
I just got an email that said to simply reply to let them know if you accept or deny and be patient. There is a lot of coordination that goes into it. They have gotten a lot of calls and emails asking about specifics and they seemed annoyed lol

yeahhhhh hopefully they let us know sooner rather than later, especially for flights and finding a place to stay!!!

Did anyone receive a confirmation email when they confirmed there RSVP for the interview?
 
Check your emails! I got one with a link that allowed me to accept my invitation for an interview.
 
Hello everyone! I got an interview WOOHOO!!! I unfortunately have to work on the day of the open house. Does anyone think it will reflect poorly if I do not attend the open house?

Congrats! Im not planning on going to the open house because of a professor on a power trip.

Did the email tell you the which campus you'll be interviewed at and the time? I haven't gotten one yet but I am sure its coming.

Yes, the email will tell you both of those things once you receive it!
 
I got the confirmation too! I will also be at the phoenix campus. Congrats to everyone who has gotten an interview!!
 
Congrats everyone! :claps:I'm very excited to be interviewing at the Flagstaff campus. I know they say the campus where you interview may not be the one you would attend if accepted. I saw on the email that part is decided "prior to matriculation". Does anyone know when exactly you would find out? Would you have to give your decision to attend before you know which campus you'd be assigned to? I know I'm really getting ahead of myself and this is not what I should be focusing on, but I'm super super curious.
 
I just sent in my acceptance for the interview request, crossing my fingers I get invited to the Phoenix campus. I was able to visit this summer and it's absolutely beautiful.

I would think they would have to let you know right away when you are accepted. People have to make housing arrangements and decisions about school, and location of family could be a big contributor! I know in previous years they found out right when they were accepted which campus they would be attending.

Like after you filled out the questions on the link included in the email? I have not received an email confirmation after completing that yet!

Yeah, that is what I meant. I have not got it yet.
 
My campus preference has changed since I filled out my application. Is that something you would mention during your interview?
 
My interview is at the Flagstaff campus and I plan to tour the area after the interview. If you have been there before, what are some places you recommend for visitors?

Mama Burgers is a must! The downtown area is cute to shop around and get a feel of the town
 
So the email invitation for the interview states to wear business casual. For my other interviews I have worn dress pants and a blazer, do you think that is too formal or is it better to just be over dressed and wear it?
